On week 2 of the training and loving it, definitely feeling an improvement and know that my goal will be reached by the end of the plan. Also had a couple of questions in the beginning like most people do when starting a new plan and my questions were answered instantly which was great
Yesterday I raced in the Nepean Triathlon in Sydney. This race is Australia's oldest triathlon, celebrating its 40th anniversary.
I had a good race, coming 3rd in AG with a course PB!
You’re doing a great job motivating people! I like the funny and informal way you explain things in Trainingpeaks and in the PDF-documents.
I’ve trained and raced alongside Coach Steve for the past two years and he always brings a lighthearted sense of humour to sessions while at the same time being clearly dedicated to improving his own and others performance. His dedication to the sport of triathlon is second to none and since signing up to SMart Endurance Steve has been both helpful and professional and has provided me with a 70.3 training plan that suits my needs and experience. Looking forward to the next 30 weeks training.
Just short thoughts and memo at the other side of the incredible experience that was Ironman Emilia-Romagna.
All in all, a great day, great race, incredible race course, quite manageable, and in the end my time was even better than I expected.
I want to thank you for the program I used. It got me well prepared and it was never the overwhelming experience I was afraid of in the beginning. So, if nothing else, a big THANK YOU for your part in making the whole experience as great as it was. It was even that great, that I am almost sure to do this again
I worked with Steve on a 1-2-1 Coaching plan. Steve did wonders with both my fitness and my belief in that I could overcome any challenge. Steve is a wonderful coach, offers fabulous insights, and truly delivers on a transformative journey. A rock star coach!
I am liking the strength training program for triathletes. I purchased it last week and it’s been a lot of fun
Even with a bad photo you can probably see that I was pretty relaxed finishing my very first Ironman distance in a pretty decent time. While I was running people couldn’t believe how little I was sweating! Well that’s all down to the excellent training plan I followed to the letter ( Well as much as I could) from our very own Coach Steve. Thanks again Coach!
I recently decided after completing a few marathons and the odd triathlon that I wanted to take on the challenge of a full Ironman. Knowing I needed a structured training programme I began to research the many training programmes available online and spoke to others who have previously done these events. The name that kept coming up was Steve Moody and Training Peaks. The variety of programmes, designed for all levels are second to none. Given the commitment and discipline required the programmes are not mundane, sessions are varied and really well constructed. However, above all else, having Steve’s input and help is the biggest benefit, along with his encouragement and reassurance he’s always just an email away and he always responds swiftly. Overall, although slightly daunted by the prospect of tackling my first Ironman I couldn’t be happier having Steve and Training Peaks helping me along the way. In a nutshell I couldn’t recommend Steve and Training Peaks highly enough.
Really appreciate your training plans by the way. See steady progress with them, and have fun, so thanks!
Following the training plan worked like a charm, no surprises on race day
I bought the 24 week Olympic training plan and it has exceeded my expectations.
Not only are the workouts clearly defined in Training Peaks with usefully notes, but the additional support via email has been excellent. Any issue or concern I had was quickly responded to with a helpful answer.
I bought the plan with hopes of a PB and ended up knocking 10% off my overall time 🙂
