I just finished your BEGINNER Olympic 12-week training plan and finished my first triathlon yesterday (had a flat tyre though so had to walk to T2) but felt really strong and still finished my run with a good tempo. Your training plan definitely helped me achieve that!
Finished with a 6:09 and change. I was really happy with it overall.

I have purchased and been working through your Ironman 70.3 beginner training programme. It has been brilliant so far, I have been really enjoying it.
Using your plan got me through my first Ironman event in Wales, Tenby on the 15th of September.
Only 1 or two changes were made to the plan because of weather or pool being closed, a good 95% or more of the workouts were completed as expected. No injury, no excessive fatigue – fantastic, thank you!
I set out looking to do a full distance Ironman event with no previous experience of triathlon and no idea what a training plan would look like. I had no idea where to start so I got the beginner time crunched Ironman plan, I have a part time job while studying engineering at university so my time was slim. I wasn’t racing for a time I was racing to get to the finish and this plan fit my schedule amazingly and I made it to the line ! I now have the bug for triathlon and purchased my second plan
A huge thanks to Coach Steve for his 40 week IM program. The pace of progression was ideal. It really helped to minimise injury and took me to the best shape of my life. Steve's help and enthusiasm when I had questions made me feel like I was always supported. The result was that I felt like I was 'racing' rather than simply dragging myself to the finish. Steve has been nothing short of brilliant. The initial consultation was thorough which gave me utter confidence in choosing the right plan. The plan itself was incredibly easy to follow with plenty of reading to keep me well informed. This all gave me the perfect springboard to smash my PB at the 70.3 distance. Great start to my season as nailed a 6 min PB on the first of my planned duathlons – thank you CS – loving the structure and the helpful videos!
Fair play to Steven .. by consistently slowing me down he managed to speed me up !
16 months into training for ultra events and IronMan ( rescheduled) and Steven has shown he can
mange the various aspects to allow me to increase training volume without ill effects ….

Steve's plan helped me successfully complete my first 70.3! The plan was manageable and I felt like I was able to move my workouts around as my scheduled allowed. I will be using the plan again to train for my next 70.3. Steve also provided helpful emails throughout the training plan.
Thanks for tips on the journey Steve. I couldn’t stick to planned training with life/work, but improvised a little . Oh and got 6th in over 60 age category
