Thank you so much, Coach Steve, for your support. Great tips on pre and race day which were very helpful.
After a couple weeks break, I'll be back at it and have some goals to reach. Would appreciate some advice on best training program to be ready for Santa Cruz and crush that course
Yesterday I did the 1/2 IM Liuzhou and came second in my age group (65-69) in a great time(for me) of 5.39. I missed a Kona spot by 7 minutes but got the spot of 1/2 Nice world championships in September. I am thrilled!!!
Anyway, you deserve a lot of the credit for a training plan that got me to Nice and Kona isn’t dead yet so THANK YOU.
just thought I’d drop you a message. I’m just over 2 weeks into my plan and really enjoying it. The odd day changed due to cold but managed the rest. PB, 3rd lady, and 1st in my age group at the weekend park run, so all looking great
5:35 in my debut 70.3 and all thanks to your program.
I loved every minute of it!
Switched over to a smartensurdance plan for my next upcoming IM and so far it has been night and day with other plans. Two biggest benefits so far are firstly the zone and output effort variations are keeping me fresh and continuously improving my metrics while allowing recovery at precise times, and secondly it has taken all of the guess work out of my mind as the analysis provided in the scheduled trainings are granular in design yet simple to follow and my gains very traceable.
Feel stronger across all the disciplines after your Inter Base plan – thank you! Great to be entering a race season with some confidence even not being able to toe the line for a while!
Steve had been my Coach for the last 3 years in that time he has consistently got me to the start line for both Full IMs and 70.3 races in the best shape possible, his ability to enable this is perfect, he knows when to push me as well as back off when needed.Steve has been instrumental in improving my swimming and cycling,His daily feedback after every session is 1 of the reasons I choose to retain Steve as my coach. Thanks Steve.
This plan works!
I competed in the IRONMAN 70.3 Lubbock over the weekend.
With Coach Steves plan I was able to finish in 05:22. I had a flat tire and a stuck chain which took 15 minutes off my bike time.
I was still able to shave off 50 minutes of my previous 70.3 time in Lubbock, and I know for sure that Coach Steves well structured plan played a big role in my PR.
I even got my spot for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in St. George in September.
Thank you Coach Steve!
May weekend in Youghal. Great weekend, knowledgeable coaches. Good group splits. Good craic
I couldn't recommend Smart Endurance Solutions more highly. I am currently undertaking their over 50's HR based intermediate ironman training plan after having completed their base building/maintenance plan earlier in the year. I have found both plans to be enjoyable , rewarding and have seen fantastic results. Progress has been steady and each stage has fitted my age and fitness profile perfectly. I have found communication and advice extremely helpful.
This program was absolutely crucial to me completing my first half Ironman. As I did not have a lot of free time to dedicate to it, this plan helped make me feel that I was getting every ounce of performance from the effort I put in. It was also great to have Steven so quick and responsive with any questions about training that I had along the way. Had a wonderful time through it all and can’t wait to train for another with my coach by my side!
Being a complete novice in the triathlon world, I thought what better way to ease myself in to it than doing a full Ironman. I knew immediately I needed some form of guidance and I am so glad I came across Steve and his various detailed training plans. Even if purchasing a standalone plan, Steve has been on hand to return my emails and give me answers to the many questions I have had.
It's very apparent that Steve is dedicated in his coaching and I wouldn't look anywhere else for help/coaching.
