I completed my first Ironman in Klagenfurt, Austria, using the 6-month training plan. Working 50 hours a week, the plan is well-designed and with enough flexibility to be able to balance training with a demanding work schedule.
Coach Steve was always very responsive to questions and provided constructive advice based on my personal performance needs, and the metrics dashboard provided helpful insights into progress. I look forward to using Smart Endurance Solutions for future races!
Really appreciate your training plans by the way. See steady progress with them, and have fun, so thanks!
Many thanks for your plan and support in answering my questions, I really appreciate the time you took to support me.
Regards from Australia,
Nick
. Great plan by the way and already loving the ability to swap days around for family/work etc
Steve is a great coach and a great guy. I was coached for my first full distance race with him in Barcelona. A real coach that cares for his athletes. When I do another full distance race Steve will be my first port of call.
Super motivator and extremely well tailored plan for my individual needs ! Always on the email and phone when advice needed ! Get involved with Mr.Moody !!
I was lucky enough to be selected to trial the PB Hit squad with Coach Steve. Initially, I was blown away by the quality/energy of the Zoom calls and have learned a lot in a short time! Based on the direction of CS – I have also switched plans to a much better fit for me and have my HR zones dialed in! Already put in the request for Coach to sign me up post-trial – I need this to get through my first Ironman!
Thank you so much for all your support and advice while I have been training. The fact you replied so quickly to all my emails with great advice was a huge factor in me successfully completing my first Ironman. I could definitely have done better on my run but I was delighted with my time and really just the fact I finished! The fact I feel great this week and am only in pain due to losing 2 toe nails shows how well my training worked
Just a quick note to say thank you very much for your training plan and advices.
I completed IM Barcelona on 3 October. I’m sure you’ve heard that the swim was cut short which was a pity. However, it was the toughest swim I have ever done. The bike proved harder than expected because of a head wind. I had been hoping for a 6 hour bike but did it in 6.30. The run went as well as I could have expected as I knocked about 20 minutes or so off my previous time.
I recently signed up for a half-ironman in November – and Coach Steve has helped me get together a plan for the entire training.
I am currently in China, and I can’t get to any pools at all, so he has also provided strength training exercises that I can do as a replacement.
So far, I’m very impressed with the quality of the workouts, the speed at which he gets back to me (if we’re both in waking hours, responses are really quick, if I message him at 2am there, he responds early morning), and the guidance Coach Steve has provided so far.
Thanks Coach – already looking forward to tomorrow’s training
I thoroughly enjoyed the IM plan you developed for 50+ Athletes. I made it through the entire program with zero injuries. This combined with the use of Fulgaz, really prepared me well for IM Tulsa.
Extremely happy with a 14:34:01 for my first IM finish!!! From powerlifting 10 years ago to Ironman today!😊
Can’t thank you enough!
The IM plan that I had previously was great – got me through IMNZ in March, taking over an hour off my previous time. This year I went for the intermediate plan rather than a beginner to use the additional swimming and riding to make up for the run. All in all, really happy with the outcome.
