Just finishing up your 8 week triathlon specific S&C plan – in previous seasons I always tended to end up injured when the running volume built up due to weak claves … but this year – before the real intense stuff starts – must admit I am feeling almost bullet proof – thank you Coach S

I purchased this Intermediate plan for my first Ironman. I had previously done a 70.3; for the 70.3 I made my own plan and struggled with overtraining. I felt this plan was just what I needed it to be, it provided a good structure, will a repeatable pattern, a steady build complemented by rest weeks. By the time my race came, I made a prediction table; due to my extensive training, my prediction was very accurate for each discipline. I recommend getting a training plan if its not your 1st.

Progress after 3months: 1st race of the season (Olympic)
Swim: After a chaotic start & 38mins later (my fastest open-water swim) I was on my bike. Which was a breeze. I started the run and was surprised to see that I finished my first mile at 7.30min. Your words "focus on good running form, engage the core, lean forward, land on the ball of the feet" became a mantra. And just like that I had my first sub-3 by a good 7minutes.

I purchased the Beginner Ironman 22 week (50yrs+) plan that included email access to Coach. So far I am very pleased with this heart rate based plan. I was also pleased to see a training plan designed for my particular age group. This plan helps greatly to organize my weekly workouts. And if you have a Garmin Forerunner 935 watch, this plan can be synced to Garmin app which makes it even simpler to keep track! This program was absolutely crucial to me completing my first half Ironman. As I did not have a lot of free time to dedicate to it, this plan helped make me feel that I was getting every ounce of performance from the effort I put in. It was also great to have Steven so quick and responsive with any questions about training that I had along the way. Had a wonderful time through it all and can’t wait to train for another with my coach by my side!
After 2 years of Covid cancellations , I finally made it to the start line of the 2022 Port Macquarie 70.3 Ironman. It was hard to stay motivated through Covid lockdowns and weeks of rain, but Steve's program kept me focused and gave me a realistic training load and intensity. I realised I'd been overtraining, and Steve's program taught me the value of low heart rate sessions. I was impressed with Steve's quick response to emails and his reassuring and helpful advice. In the past 2 weeks I have set PBs for Watts for 30 and 60 min on the bike, I did my fastest ever 30km on the bike last night (beating my old time by a few minutes, even after running 10km in the stinking hot morning), and I actually feel like a somewhat competent swimmer these days! So overall, I am really happy with the workouts and program in general so THANK YOU!
Coach Steve is simply awesome! I am just getting back to training and he has been super helpful already! I am so happy that I chose Smart Endurance Solutions to help get me to the finish line of my second Ironman.
