After a few false starts with race postponements and cancellations due to Covid I really felt the benefit of sticking to Coach Steve’s 70.3 plan as I felt strong and well prepared going into the race. It is a very easy to navigate, varied plan so I didn’t get bored. I could see the progress as I was moving through the base and build phases which also helped with injury prevention. I would highly recommend this and other plans as Steve was available to answer any queries.
Steven has provided me with a wonderful 70.3 plan, and has incorporated my request to also include preparation for a marathon earlier on next year. I look forward to working with Steven over the coming months, and am really impressed with his guidance so far. Thanks Steven!
Coach Steve Moody has a wealth of experience as a participant & a coach. This combination of experience enables Steve tailor plans to suit the individuals time commitment & ability .
It’s reassuring to have a plan that is proven and a coach that can give guidance when things don’t go “quite to plan “ which is part of life !
Thanks for your commitment and professionalism Steve.
Shay Phelan -I have 5yrs of Triathlon fun under my belt !
The structure is the game changer. I started with a decent level of fitness but absolutely no clue on how to advance. The personal program with excellent feedback from Steve all ultimately made me a sub 3 marathoner. Can't recommend enough and as a bonus, Steve is just a nice guy. Genuinely one of the best coaches in the country now and his accolades speak to that.
Happy return to racing yesterday at the Nottingham Outlaw Half!
5 weeks ago I was seriously doubting my ability to finish, and started looking ahead to my A race – Weymouth 70.3 in September. With a little help from Smart Endurance Solutions in adapting a newly purchased plan (for Weymouth) in order to get me to the start line yesterday I managed to surpass my expectations of the day and finished the half marathon super strong! Thanks Coach Steve 👍
just thought I’d drop you a message. I’m just over 2 weeks into my plan and really enjoying it. The odd day changed due to cold but managed the rest. PB, 3rd lady, and 1st in my age group at the weekend park run, so all looking great
Using your plan got me through my first Ironman event in Wales, Tenby on the 15th of September.
Only 1 or two changes were made to the plan because of weather or pool being closed, a good 95% or more of the workouts were completed as expected. No injury, no excessive fatigue – fantastic, thank you!
Had a great time at my Guelph Lake Sprint, it was helped that the odd distances off 750/30/7 really suits my strengths and weaknesses 😉 Was able to snag my first AG win! Looking forward to my A race coming up though!
Returning to triathlon after a 20 year gap, I found Smart Endurance Solutions & Coach Steve Moody on Training Peaks. Three months on, I can say what a very positive difference it has made.
The precious time and energy I am spending in training is more efficiently used and i've been particularly taken with Coach Steve's "PB Hit Squad" – a hybrid coaching/support group where I'm learning new skills, swapping stories with other triathletes and asking specific questions about my plan.
Great start to my season as nailed a 6 min PB on the first of my planned duathlons – thank you CS – loving the structure and the helpful videos!
Thanks for a great plan I finished in 2:23h 38 – 59 – 41 min. The heat was a bit hard at the end of the run and have to improve my swimming but learned already a lot from your plan
I have just purchased your 12-week plan 70.3 base/maintenance plan and am really looking forward to it as the plan itself is very clear and well structured. Will keep you posted how I get on.
