I want to say I liked your training schedule and although I didn’t have to consult you much, it is a good feeling you have a backup. Also your emails with advises and your data which you can consult is good.
This plan works!
I competed in the IRONMAN 70.3 Lubbock over the weekend.
With Coach Steves plan I was able to finish in 05:22. I had a flat tire and a stuck chain which took 15 minutes off my bike time.
I was still able to shave off 50 minutes of my previous 70.3 time in Lubbock, and I know for sure that Coach Steves well structured plan played a big role in my PR.
I even got my spot for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in St. George in September.
Thank you Coach Steve!
I did your Olympic 8 week training plan before (which was 8 weeks after my first marathon) and loved it! That is why I bought a second one 🤗
The 32-week plan (which I followed to a tee, minus a few swims) was truly phenomenal and was instrumental in helping me reach my goal of a sub-12hr (albeit “unofficial”) Ironman finish… (My friend and I mapped out the Ironman course and did it, along with a few other diehards, on the exact date the race would have taken place). The official entry was rolled into 2021 so I’m gearing up for what I hope will be another PR.
Hi Coach Steve – just to let you know I nailed my first sprint triathlon last weekend with the help of your beginner plan (and the last minute email from you reassuring me I could do it!) – thanks so much for your help – going to enjoy off season now …. but maybe Olympic distance next year? 😉
Thanks to Cairnscrocstriclub for another amazing duathlon event this morning. I was carrying a niggling injury which affected my run times but super stoked to have shaved 10 mins from my bike time last year. Massive thanks to Coach Steve for the IRONMAN training plan which I am seeing tangible results from
I’ve just finished an excellent 70.3 training weekend in Youghal with Steve and Mark.
They took us round the course (including the infamous Windmill Hill!!!) and gave us lots of advice on the course itself, training, nutrition etc .
At best I’m average and I’ll admit I was a bit anxious that the weekend might have been too fast and more for stronger athletes but I was thankfully wrong- we divided into groups and worked together and it was great. And really good fun!!!!!
Found plans to be excellent. Daily feedback on sessions keeps me motivated. Big Improvements in FTP & running as a result of base work. Highly recommend coach Steve
Thanks very much for the plan – I’m doing the BEGINNER Time crunched IRONMAN 36 week plan – I’m really enjoying doing it and looking forward to Septembers iron!
What a weekend.
Thanks very much for all your help and support over the last year.
Crossing the finish line and hearing those words “David Hill you are an Ironman” made all the time and commitment worthwhile.
Just finishing up your 8 week triathlon specific S&C plan – in previous seasons I always tended to end up injured when the running volume built up due to weak claves … but this year – before the real intense stuff starts – must admit I am feeling almost bullet proof – thank you Coach S
I am training for my 1st full Ironman using the 40 week advanced training plan and I love it. The flow, ease of use and durations fit into my work and family life perfectly without sacrificing training. Also helps that Coach Steve is super responsive to emails. Thank you!!
