The plan you recommended worked great for me. Especially being a noob! I will definitely be looking at another plan, thinking of upping my game to a 70.3!!
My triathlon was last weekend and I came in 3rd in my group, master clydesdale.

Incredibly happy with these results. This is probably the first time I’ve ever completed an actual program for a specific event and it was a great experience.
Just want to say I’m loving the plan and bar this week its really trying in with my work/life balance which is really what I needed
Hello ๐ I’m halfway through your Olympic distance training plan and decided to celebrate by taking part in a duathlon this past Sunday ๐ it was a great race & I can’t wait to see how fast I can go on race day in a couple of weeks!
Absolutely love your plan!
Thanks so much ๐
P.s. Also got to take this shiny thing home with me for AG podium – see picture
Got an excellent (beginners) IM program off (Coach Steve) via Training Peaks: Easy to follow prescriptions for endurance, threshold, and higher intensity sessions across all three disciplines. Itโs got comprehensive instructions for swim drills, stretching for before/after the bike, and how much (by duration) S+C work to thrown into the plan which is really useful as a novice.
The plan progressively banks up fitness and strength over the months โ I can see my fitness improving gradually week on week and the built-in step-back weeks are helping stave off injury and fatigue. The plan has taken the guess-work out of my training so Iโm getting consistently stronger and faster.
A GREAT investment and better value for $ than any of the tri gear/gadgets Iโve bought! Experience counts.

Training to a plan built by someone who knows what theyโre talking about has made a huge difference. For me having the structure outlined by Steven was motivating, but more importantly it has improved my enjoyment of racing and without-doubt has improved my times. I have had sprint and olympic PBs already this season and with Dublin 70.3 on the horizon I am confident of a PB at that distance too.
Thanks to your plan, I finished Kona last October as a first timer. Definitely made some mistakes but didn't need the Med Tent at the finish.
Bought your plan to keep me focused – ended up not only losing weight but making serious gains on my weakest discipline – the run …. now holding 6 min/km for a zone 2 run – giddy up! Thanks Coach Steve
Recently used your intermediate 16 week Olympic plan and managed not only managed to PB my local race in Connecticut but also got an AG podium. Felt I really came on leaps and bounds in my bike so thank you very much Coach Steve!
This was my 1st time on one of these camps. Overall the camp was excellent, from the comms prior to the camp, whatsapp group messages leading up to and during the weekend, topics covered, planning sessions (including due to weather changes) and the great atmosphere within the group during the camp.
Both coaches were very knowledgeable, approachable and chilled.
I would recommend one of Coach Steve's camps to anyone looking to gain confidence, insight or a kick in the a** prior to their race.
I am following your intermediate ironman 40 week plan and I love it
I did your Olympic 8 week training plan before (which was 8 weeks after my first marathon) and loved it! That is why I bought a second one ๐ค
We are working through the beginner aquabike plan and loving it! It's amazing so thank you!
