Fair play to Steven .. by consistently slowing me down he managed to speed me up !

mange the various aspects to allow me to increase training volume without ill effects ….

After completing a number of half Ironman’s I reached a plateau in training and was finding it difficult to move forward.
I enrolled in a training program with Coach Steve and after setting my goals he starting providing feedback on a weekly basis on my sessions.
In between I obtained pbs in sprint and Olympic distance.
After postponement of events he changed plan to accommodate my desires.
The result a 5.28 in Ironman 70.3 Turkey at 53 years without any major injuries along the way.
I presented Coach Steven with a unique challenge of being time deficient and only had limited opportunities to train each week. And those times changed often. He worked to constantly adapt to my timings while also getting the most out of the time available. I found this adaptability and ability to these challenges a commendable skill. Coach Steven also had an excellent ability to keep me focused on either the week ahead or on the Ironman process, as required.

I am delighted to inform that I crossed the 70.3 Weymouth finish line in my personal best of 7 hrs 21 mins and 11 seconds.
I am really happy with the result, your training plan helped. All in all, a very satisfying result. And also a demonstration that I can push more and look to bring that time to sub 7.

I’m entering week 20 of your ADVANCED IRONMAN 32 week (50yrs+, HR-based) program. Really enjoying the plan so far, making great progress, and—knock on wood—remain injury-free.
Recently attended a Cork training camp with Steve Moody and Mark Rushby. An excellent weekend, the two lads couldn’t do enough to help , tips on course strategy , nutrition , transitions and course specific advice to name but a few. They went above and beyond to help everyone of all abilities and done it with a smile. Couldn’t recommend these lads highly enough for anyone wishing to attend a coaching camp look no further than Steve and Mark.. thanks for all your help lads

I have been using Coach Steve’s maintenance and race prep plans for 9 months. The plans have been great: easy to follow, clear progression and enjoyable. The icing on the cake has been the quick and thoughtful input I have received along the way – invaluable! I have gone from being a middle-of-the pack finisher to qualifying for the 70.3 Ironman World Championship in St George in my last race. 50+ and getting better. Just finished your 12-week beginner Olympic plan and had an awesome day out – my swim was way better than expected, the bike had me passing lots of people and I finished the run a little slower than I hoped but my overall time was WAY faster than my target 3 hours (2:48!) – thank you so much!
Should I go straight onto an intermediate plan now? I want to race again soon

Steve’s programmes were really easy to use and understand . I stuck rigidly with the plan and come race day was really well prepared and delighted with the outcome . I couldn’t have done it without Steves guidance . Thanks mate
