Thank you, coach. The run is where I felt the best. I followed your mantra, tighten the core, lean forward, and take a step. Felt wonderful the whole way thru the run. I must say, I followed your plan to 90% of it and started the day with a 15hr goal for a first timer and I am thrilled I hit it with room to spare! And all this was with just a TP plan with no interaction on a weekly basis. I am sold 🙂 .. I think those that have access to you often are going to crush their races
It has been a very exciting 4 years working with Steve. At the start of wash Eason we set challenging but achievable goals with a plan that is tailored to the athlete, not the other way around and one that is adaptable to life’s general obstacles! Not only is data reviewed in detail, but how the athlete feels is also considered in each block. Not only have I achieved personal goals, I have even podiumed a number of times. Could not recommend coach Steve enough!
I’ve been using the training plan for 3 weeks now and love it. I don’t have to think about anything, the explanations are well detailed and it’s easy to follow. Looking forward to finishing it!
Hi Steve, just wanted to let you know been following your training plan and really pleased with progress entering final stages
Was Coached by Steve in 2019-2020 for FULL DISTANCE Cork. I started off with relatively little triathlon experience. From the get go I knew Steve was an excellent coach, his daily feedback and training progression over the months were unmatched. I went from feeling like an full-distance was an impossible task to aiming for times which I could only dream of before starting with Steve. One of the Best things about been coached by Steve, was his flexibility, which helped with my line of work. Highly recommend
I am currently using one of your (Advanced) FULL DISTANCE plans that i purchased a few weeks ago and i am really enjoying it. Thanks!
Great weekend in Youghal in preparation for my first HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE in August. Learned loads about course while actually doing it, plus plenty of q and a, and good fun too. Definitely recommend.
I found Steve’s plans on Training Peaks as I was looking for an experienced and quality coach after signing up to my first FULL DISTANCE. I was delighted the level of service I received. The amount of detail he included was exactly what I was looking for. Its extremely comprehensive and nothing is left to chance. He was very responsive and attentive (I had about a million questions), with nothing being too much trouble. Training went to plan and I was delighted with the time I achieved. Thanks Steve!
Steve had been my Coach for the last 3 years in that time he has consistently got me to the start line for both Full IMs and HALF DISTANCE races in the best shape possible, his ability to enable this is perfect, he knows when to push me as well as back off when needed.Steve has been instrumental in improving my swimming and cycling,His daily feedback after every session is 1 of the reasons I choose to retain Steve as my coach. Thanks Steve.
For that B race we targeted, I came in 2nd overall and won my age group by a wide margin. It was great to get some experience with that length of event, to practice my transitions, and to get more confidence going into my A race (Olympic) in two weeks. As you suggested, I didn’t taper at all and was able to continue with the plan by the next morning. Strong testament I think to your plan. My body feels good. Thanks again.
Plans are detailed and easy to follow and Coach Steve´s support is exceptional. Could definitely see and feel improvement even halfway through the program.
I really do appreciate your help with my strength training! It’s difficult to find a healthy balance with strength training and triathlon training. I know I need strength and conditioning to rehab my body and prevent me from getting injured further, but I also don’t want my muscles to be too sore or tired to perform in key endurance sets or races. This plan is easy to understand, well thought out, and conducive to strengthening your body to complement your normal endurance training. All exercises are ones that will benefit you in the sport, rather than just going to the gym and throwing weight around.
Thanks again for this plan! You rock.
