Training plans as good if not better than any others on the market!
Training plans as good if not better than any others on the market!
Last year I set a goal to race in Ironman Western Australia. Considering at that stage I was 122kg and hadn’t raced in 9 years, it was a big ask.
I needed a plan.
Through Training Peaks, I discovered a 48 week Ironman plan for beginners offered by Coach Steve. The plan was reasonably priced for the duration and detail and offered support via email.
Had i of known how much support, the timeliness of the support and the quality of the support before I signed up, I’d had thought I was getting the too good to be true plan.
Steve is FABULOUS!
He has been a wonderful support over the last 9 months. He has been patient with my questions, all 3000 of them. His advice has been wonderful and his encouragement has been appreciated.
So brilliant has Steve been over my journey to date, when my Ironman was cancelled and I deferred to Ironman Cairns in June, Steve was the first I emailed to lock in a new 70.3 plan to take me to Geelong 70.3 in February and on to my first Ironman in 2021.
Today I’m fitter than I’ve ever been and thanks to the super easy to follow plan that builds progressively and which is achievable each week, I am also 27kgs lighter.
Thanks Steve for being there on my journey to Ironman. Couldn’t have done it without your help.
After completing a number of half Ironman’s I reached a plateau in training and was finding it difficult to move forward.
I enrolled in a training program with Coach Steve and after setting my goals he starting providing feedback on a weekly basis on my sessions.
In between I obtained pbs in sprint and Olympic distance.
After postponement of events he changed plan to accommodate my desires.
The result a 5.28 in Ironman 70.3 Turkey at 53 years without any major injuries along the way.
Found your swim specific plan really useful during lockdown – helped me deal with my swim FOMO for sure … and I even have a stronger core rather than a COVD belly! Thank you
This plan is exactly what I needed! I started from nothing at age 57 and I finished a half Ironman 6 months later in 6.5 hours. I am so proud of myself. Coach Steve helped through all along the way by responding to every little email question I had. When I came to the start line I felt so well prepared thanks to Coach Steve’s training plan!
Was nervous training for my first tri – but emailed Coach with some questions and soon was on his beginner sprint plan – it was much less confusing then – I followed the instructions and get more and more confident as I did – and before I knew it 12 weeks later I was a triathlete! Thanks CS
Great instructions by coach Steve and I’m looking forward to smash my training for this Marathon. The training peak app is very straight forward once you get familiar and with Steve’s advice
Hi Coach, writing this to thank you for your training plans. Ever since I started using them, I have not struggled in the last 3 races I have done this year!
Coach Steve Moody has a wealth of experience as a participant & a coach. This combination of experience enables Steve tailor plans to suit the individuals time commitment & ability .
It’s reassuring to have a plan that is proven and a coach that can give guidance when things don’t go “quite to plan “ which is part of life !
Thanks for your commitment and professionalism Steve.

Awesome plan, really seeing the gains as I go into the build phase of the plan, Steve responds quickly to emails while also providing interesting information along the way, will buy from Steve again 5 stars from me.
I did your Olympic 8 week training plan before (which was 8 weeks after my first marathon) and loved it! That is why I bought a second one 🤗
I owe you a big deal of gratitude. Dont know how you do it, but the way you planned your program made me, I feel, peak at the perfect time. Likewise, I am pleasantly surprised that your plan catered for hiccups that life throws at us.
Steve I’ve just completed Dublin City Marathon and the 16 week plan I got from you for it more than delivered. It was my first marathon and hit 3:35 which for someone who wouldn’t class themselves as a runner isn’t s bad start! The plan was very easy to follow and I know with my new targets in my head the plan will help to (hopefully) hit those too.
