Following the training plan worked like a charm, no surprises on race day
I recently bought a program from Steve through training peaks to start my training with the goal of finishing my first full-distance this coming October. I have been super impressed with the support and sound, clear advice Steve passes on. Wouldn’t have any problem recommending his services, its superb! Great work Steve!
I Found Steves Intermediate Olympic training plan a gamechanger. The blended layout of lower and higher intensity workouts was perfect! His online support was also great, helping me out a few times. I will be using Steve again in 2024 for an FULL DISTANCE HALF DISTANCE plan.

I just completed my first sprint Aquabike in Skerries, Dublin at the weekend
Thanks to your plan and support, I feel great, I’ve got the fitness bug again, and regularly empty my bank account (for I definitely need…) in pursuit of what is now a firm love of Aquabike training. I can’t believe I’ve trained 6-8 times a week for 20 weeks without injury: I’ve tried nearly everything and always get injured.

Was feeling a little underdone on training due to illness, but had followed Coach Steve's plan as best I could.
Conditions were freezing and windy on the day, but a great feeling of accomplishment post race.
Thank you, coach. The run is where I felt the best. I followed your mantra, tighten the core, lean forward, and take a step. Felt wonderful the whole way thru the run. I must say, I followed your plan to 90% of it and started the day with a 15hr goal for a first timer and I am thrilled I hit it with room to spare! And all this was with just a TP plan with no interaction on a weekly basis. I am sold 🙂 .. I think those that have access to you often are going to crush their races
Loved the plan – it has taught me a lot and put me on track to compete in my first tri race (olympic).
Coach Steve, Thank you for the awesome Advanced FULL DISTANCE Training Plan. I am 10 plus weeks into the training and I feel very strong. The plan does a great job getting the most out of me while keeping me healthy and not overtraining. You have been very responsive via email and I appreciate that. I am extremely excited for the 2020 season.
Was delighted with the training plan so wanted to drop you a reply when your email came out! I took up triathlon after 8 years out of it so this really was couch to HALF DISTANCE!!
My A race for the year the HALF DISTANCE in Youghal and for the most part was very happy with how it went. Completed it in 5 hours 25 mins which was inside my target time of 5:30 !!!

Since day one taking up triathlon in 2008 Stephen has been a massive reason why I’ve stuck with triathlon and enjoyed it to the extent that I have. He couldn’t do more to encourage and help those around him and is incredibly generous with both his time and knowledge. I’ve benefitted greatly from his technical knowledge and expertise, but it’s his absolute love of the sport and the passion that he brings to coaching that in my mind allows him to stand out as a coach. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
