Having reached a plateau, it niggled that I hadn’t reached my full potential but felt it a bit pretentious engaging a coach as a middle-aged back of pack female. At initial meeting, Steve seemed just as interested in helping me reach my goals as somebody trying to get to Kona. Rapid feedback after each session means that I have had almost 100% consistency in training & the constant cycle of session & feedback has ingrained good habits. To my delight, mid-50s, I’m now stronger, fitter & faster
I reached out to several coaches in July 2021 and Steve responded with not only the plan he would recommended, but also the encouragement I, a total noob needed to follow through! I went by his program and not only did I finish my first triathlon, but came in 3rd in my age group! I just signed up for an FULL DISTANCE HALF DISTANCE and will definitely be going with Couch Steve for my training plan!
I am using coach Steve's intermediate 20 week plan to prepare for this season. Every session is super easy to follow, when loaded into TrainingPeaks they sync with my watch which is great! If I do have a question I can email Steve, and he's always quick to respond with clarifications and encouragement :-). My power has increased on the bike, and I have PB'd a local 10k race already in the build up to the season. Highly recommend getting one of these plans. I am going get aHALF DISTANCE plan next

Even with a bad photo you can probably see that I was pretty relaxed finishing my very first FULL DISTANCE distance in a pretty decent time. While I was running people couldn’t believe how little I was sweating! Well that’s all down to the excellent training plan I followed to the letter ( Well as much as I could) from our very own Coach Steve. Thanks again Coach!
I found Steve’s training plan originally on training peaks, and have used these training plans to get me to FULL DISTANCE UK and FULL DISTANCE Portugal this year, Steve advice, experience and guidance enable me to finish FULL DISTANCE Portugal in a time that I could originally only dream of. Steve webinars on YouTube and really helped prepare for the races, preparing me for what to expect on race day, the training plan was easy to follow and gave me accountability ensuring I was ready for race day. I'm really happy with my interaction and plans as set out by Coach Moody. I have a unique situation with my limiting schedule, and he was more than accommodating in working out a plan that fit that schedule, but also providing quality results. It also helps that his plans and coaching fit me from a budget standpoint as well. I have completed 2 half distances and on full IM & would highly recommend this plan. It's logical, easy to follow, and really gets you to enjoy the process of getting to the start line with the confidence that you are in the great shape to complete the event. All individual advice from Coach Steve was excellent, pragmatic, and delivered with reference to my individual targets & ability. And of course with the right balance of fun! I exceeded my goals on all the legs using this plan!
The (FULL DISTANCE BOLTON) course is brutal and the wind made it even worse, but it’s done now. It’s been a perfect training plan it worked and worked amazing around my life with uni. Honestly it’s been an amazing plan

Thanks Coach Steve for the great plan. I completed my 1st Marathon the United States Coast Guard Marathon as a veteran this was very special to me to complete. After shopping an overwhelming amount of beginner marathon plans on TrainingPeaks your plan “Beginners Marathon for Off Season Triathletes” was the perfect fit for me. My run base was pretty good but I have a hard time recovering from tons of running. This is what made this plan perfect for me was adding in the swim and bike between runs
