Was delighted to see what improvements your 24 week Inter Oly plan had earned me – was touch and go for a while to see if the race would go ahead – but man, when it did … I was not disappointed = 2 min PB on the swim, 14 PB on the bike and 5 mins on my run … felt strong the entire way (ok maybe not in the last 2km of the run … LOL)

I’ve just finished an excellent HALF DISTANCE training weekend in Youghal with Steve and Mark.
They took us round the course (including the infamous Windmill Hill!!!) and gave us lots of advice on the course itself, training, nutrition etc .
At best I’m average and I’ll admit I was a bit anxious that the weekend might have been too fast and more for stronger athletes but I was thankfully wrong- we divided into groups and worked together and it was great. And really good fun!!!!!
Really impressed with the training so far. I bought my HALF DISTANCE Intermediate plan for my upcoming HALF DISTANCE (NC) and I have to say, I’m impressed.
In 14 weeks I have raised my FTP from 198 to 243, I have improved my Time Trail Swimming from 2:10 to 1:42 and all because I have followed as close as possible (with life commitments) the plan from Coach Steve.
He does know what he is talking, he is super approachable and you can ask questions when in doubt, ask for guidance. He is great!
I purchased the Beginner FULL DISTANCE 22 week (50yrs+) plan that included email access to Coach. So far I am very pleased with this heart rate based plan. I was also pleased to see a training plan designed for my particular age group. This plan helps greatly to organize my weekly workouts. And if you have a Garmin Forerunner 935 watch, this plan can be synced to Garmin app which makes it even simpler to keep track! The (FULL DISTANCE BOLTON) course is brutal and the wind made it even worse, but it’s done now. It’s been a perfect training plan it worked and worked amazing around my life with uni. Honestly it’s been an amazing plan
Coach Steve & I have been working together for a number of years, Steve has been invaluable in my ability to train & complete races. Having a young family, busy job & limited free time, his structured yet flexible approach allows me to still get training in. Accompanying S&C programs really help you training smart as well as hard. The best thing working with Steve is having a rational voice to keep you honest. He will have that difficult conversations with you, this helps me set realistic goals
Another HALF DISTANCE race done and would not have been able to finish without the support and guidance of Coach Steve (CS).
I had an injury at the beginning of the year and wasn’t able to run for two months. CS help to tailor my plan to allow for the reduction in running which allowed me to focus on my bike and swim. Before the race I felt in the best running condition of the last 18 months.
Cairns of course made it difficult but I learnt so much.
CS will be there to help me to FULL DISTANCE 2022.
Was looking for a plan that would keep me on track and get me back into triathlon training after a few years off. Steve got me back into the swing of things. Super to have someone in your corner to push you to where you need to me.

I’ve tried a few different plans in the past & Steve is most def a coach who listens & will be sure to identify what your base, strengths and weaknesses are to come up with a solution that works best for you. Steve is open to adjust the plan & offers advice when life gets in the way. A lot to be said for a SMart plan that works around your life & the goals you’ve set for yourself no matter how challenging they are.
The weekly zoom meetings with Coach Steve & other triathletes, hearing about their races & training has taken some of the stress away, the information & advice is spot on. Thanks, Coach Steve for your support.
Steve is a great coach, extremely responsive and sets a plan that will work for you! I seen my fitness increase way more during his plan than when I was creating my own. Would highly recommend!

And therefore I want to thank you so much for everything. Without your plan and email support I am not sure if I would have finished it… on top, I did the IM completely (with my buddy) on my own because all race from FULL DISTANCE were cancelled because of Corona.
In the end my dream came through on 6.9.2020 after 12:19:52 hrs.
