I hired Steven to bring more structure and direction to my training, as I had been racing for a few year but not achieving the results I wanted. After a meeting with Steven to discuss my goals for the year, he created a clear plan focusing on the races I wanted to do. I got a detailed plan allowing me to see what was ahead in the next few weeks taking into account personal and work commitments. Steven even managed to update my plan on the fly to accommodate my unpredictable working environment. Steven zoned in on and focused on my run weaknesses and without letting my biking or swimming slide, Steven pushed me to achieve multiple PB’s. I enjoyed the constant monitoring my workouts and commenting with support or a kick start when needed. Steven is a pleasure to work with and makes the whole training planning seem so easy.
What an experience it was to finish my first Ironman. With the help of Coach Steve and his program, I crossed the line in 9 hours 36 minutes . Trust the process and perform on race day.
What’s next ?
This plan is exactly what I needed! I started from nothing at age 57 and I finished a half Ironman 6 months later in 6.5 hours. I am so proud of myself. Coach Steve helped through all along the way by responding to every little email question I had. When I came to the start line I felt so well prepared thanks to Coach Steve’s training plan!
I enlisted the help of Coach Steven to provide a comprehensive and structured training plan and improve my overall performance, he exceeded all my expectations! Coach Steven used Training Peaks to plan my sessions and monitor my progress, I found this hugely beneficial as it allowed me to track my improvement on-line. In addition, Coach Steven was very responsive to any queries I had. His experience of competing at multiple Ironman events proved invaluable. Within six months of enlisting Coach Steven’s services, I recorded PB’s at Sprint, Olympic and Half Ironman distances. I’m delighted to be working with Steven for another season, I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Thanks @SMendursolns for your fantastic help with my Ironman Nice 70.3 Personal Best this year – with your help I exceeded my goals and I’m on track for another PB in 2019.
Almost a week after Ironman Italy and am on Cloud 9 still.
Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the support.
Managed the race in 15:25 which was 35 min below my target.
Don’t think I would have done so well without your plan.
I worked with Steve in preparation for my first Ironman in Cork in 2019. Steve left no stone unturned in getting me to the start line ready for action. He ran a course reccce weekend which was invaluable and shared some super raceway advice. The training plan and coaching was excellent as was the feedback from Steve who was always available. I would highly recommend Steve for anyone looking to achieve their goals!
I am entering the second week of the beginner 12 week Olympic distance triathlon plan. Really enjoying it so far.
just thought I’d drop you a message. I’m just over 2 weeks into my plan and really enjoying it. The odd day changed due to cold but managed the rest. PB, 3rd lady, and 1st in my age group at the weekend park run, so all looking great
Knocked out my first 70.3 this morning. Came in a little over 10 minutes under my goal of 5:30. Next to the training plan, Coach Steve’s webinar on nutrition and fueling was the most helpful tool for me. Couldn’t have had a better day thanks to all the tools and info available.
Just wanted to say thanks for your advanced Oly training program I enjoyed it and used it for my race this weekend (1500 m lake / 28 mi bike / 10 K run). Fun getting back into it, even if a little more effort beating the “young bucks” now that I am 50 years young/old!
[Overall placing 5th of 175/AG placing 1st 50-54]
I haven't signed up yet but have been chatting through social media and I'm super excited to find my next 70.3 or Olympic distance Tri to train for, and hoping to sign up with Smart Endurance Solutions. Seems like an amazing value and at very reasonable price points! Happy training 🙂
