If I could give 6 stars to coach Steve, I would. Initially I bought one of his excellent training plans and he gave me all the guidance needed to implement it. I then joined his 1-2-1 coaching squad and this was the best move I could have made. Coach Steve prepares my weekly plan based, not only on his forecasted programme, but on my current conditions, commitments, etc. Therefore, I am always training at my best! Training on heart rate I have seen a huge improvements in all three disciplines.
I recently purchased Coach Steve’s FULL DISTANCE training plan from Training Peak. Steve was very quick to respond and extremely helpful in getting up and running. So far, It has been a great experience working with Steve and following his plan.
I’m on your 10 month FULL DISTANCE Training plan with my targeted A race as FULL DISTANCE Copenhagen in August. I’d baked in a few races on the lead up and today I completed the final B race…”Lakesman 1/2″ down in Keswick..my first HALF DISTANCE distance Tri. Time 5:35:54. For some context last march I did a half marathon in 2:08! Joining your program was honestly the best decision…massive gain in fitness and a fair few pounds off aswell. I couldn't recommend Smart Endurance Solutions more highly. I am currently undertaking their over 50's HR based intermediate full-distance training plan after having completed their base building/maintenance plan earlier in the year. I have found both plans to be enjoyable , rewarding and have seen fantastic results. Progress has been steady and each stage has fitted my age and fitness profile perfectly. I have found communication and advice extremely helpful.

I have seen many different types of leaders in my day – be that soldiers on the front line when I was serving with the United Nations Peacekeeping forces or business owners pulling their people through our recent economic turmoil – some bluff there way and some even falter but then there are those like Steve who just have it, who walk the talk and lead by example. His hard work and dedication forces you to raise your standards and when you are too tired to see this, he inspires you directly with daily and positive encouragement to stay the course and keep on keeping on. He reminds you of that ever so important WHY!! The WHY that gets you out of the bed at 5am to bike in the rain for endless hours. See, he to has that WHY and thats what drives his dedication, to better his craft, to learn more so he can do more and most importantly, give more.
When I first met Steve – yes, I could technically swim and yes, I owned a bike but I had NO business asking someone to get me injury free to the start and finish line of FULL DISTANCE Barcelona – and in just four months!!
First time using a training plan and it made such a positive difference to have structure in place with Training Peaks. Any questions I had on any aspect of it were always answered quickly by coach Steve and he explained things in simple easy to follow language with great hints and tips along the way. First class service and I will be back!

I like your training for 50+ people, I feel I am recuperating better, I was doing another training plan but I like this one better. Feeling stronger every day.
just thought I’d drop you a message. I’m just over 2 weeks into my plan and really enjoying it. The odd day changed due to cold but managed the rest. PB, 3rd lady, and 1st in my age group at the weekend park run, so all looking great
Steve’s training plans are really well tailored by event, duration, ability and age-group. Following his plan has made a step change to my training. Even though there has been no formal racing of late, I have seen continuous improvements in training ‘test sessions’ and virtual races. It has also been reassuring to have email access to Steve when the questions / doubts / second-guessing can creep in.

Great weekend in Youghal in preparation for my first HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE in August. Learned loads about course while actually doing it, plus plenty of q and a, and good fun too. Definitely recommend.
