Just started on a HALF DISTANCE training plan after 5 yrs of sprint and Olympic distances. So far loving the plan but more than that within 48hrs of buying the plan already had a conversation with Steve to modify my plan to accommodate my cycling commute – so responsive and so reassuring to know I’m not over / under doing the training but can still cycle to work – Thanks, Steve!
Since day one taking up triathlon in 2008 Stephen has been a massive reason why I’ve stuck with triathlon and enjoyed it to the extent that I have. He couldn’t do more to encourage and help those around him and is incredibly generous with both his time and knowledge. I’ve benefitted greatly from his technical knowledge and expertise, but it’s his absolute love of the sport and the passion that he brings to coaching that in my mind allows him to stand out as a coach. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Thank you, coach. The run is where I felt the best. I followed your mantra, tighten the core, lean forward, and take a step. Felt wonderful the whole way thru the run. I must say, I followed your plan to 90% of it and started the day with a 15hr goal for a first timer and I am thrilled I hit it with room to spare! And all this was with just a TP plan with no interaction on a weekly basis. I am sold 🙂 .. I think those that have access to you often are going to crush their races

Coach Steve does an incredible job of dialed in training to your specific needs. I am pleased with the program which has enabled me to prepare for my first HALF DISTANCE. The knowledge that Coach Steve shared has made this process a great experience along with positive motivation/confidence building. I highly recommend this to anyone considering a seamless training program which provides the daily work out up to race day!!
I can’t say enough about how great Coach Steve’s PB Hit squad is! I had been training on my own using his HALF DISTANCE and OLY plans for 2 yrs prior to joining the squad and I wish I had joined earlier because
1 I gained a lot of better insight into how proper testing really impacts training.
2 I didn’t realize how much I was adjusting the plan & hurting my training when on my own
3 The topics covered in the zooms were insightful and Q&A helped me talk through scenarios that worried me
I searched through a number of training programmes on Training Peaks and was delighted I chose Coach Steve and Smart Endurance Solutions.
From a long time absence away from triathlon, I wanted something that would get me up to date without having to think too hard, and that would also adapt to my own development.
So far it has challenged me without being over-faced. The Facebook community and ability to email Coach Steve is a really nice extra for such a good value package.
The combination of this training program and access to coach Steve is invaluable.
The first time I trained for an FULL DISTANCE HALF DISTANCE I just found a workout on the internet. It worked, but that’s it.
Being able to bounce questions off of Steve throughout the training has been a major confidence boost for me. I feel like I’m actually doing things the right way now! And it’s more fun to have a friend encouraging you along the way!!
