I appreciate your program. I felt like your training worked really well for me as well as how you set things up in Training Peaks, it was great to have trust in the HR zones and see the progression. The last Triathlon I did was in 2012, California HALF DISTANCE which I finished in 5:40. A decade later, I finished Florida HALF DISTANCE in 5:32, a new PR!
As a beginner to both TrainingPeaks and using a coach, I was thoroughly impressed with how simple and (so far) effective Coach Steve’s plan is. I’m quite hot on hitting the right sessions at the right intensity to be able to be the best athlete I can come race day and Coach Steve’s method has allowed me to be rested for the hard sessions and spent enough after to enable strong benefits through recovery. Steve has also been very helpful with answering any questions/suspicions I may have in using my data, planning for the race, and choosing the right plan. I’m currently about halfway through my race plan, and already itching to get going!
I love Steve’s triathlon training plan. It is well structured plan, offering instruction and tips in the swim, bike and run. However, I found that the best part is the support during the plan that I received by Steve. Always ready to answer any questions…
I started in September with a training program of 14 weeks with 5 sessions per week. I followed everything as faithfully as possible and learned a lot from it. I already knew that I enjoyed variety, but there were some new training forms in there for me. I also found out that training at a very low heart rate really works.
I crossed the finish line in 2:07:26. Definitely a successful weekend.
Steve was my coach for the past year and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Steve’s prescribed daily sessions helped me achieve many of my personal goals. The varied training sessions always kept training fun and got me to raceday feeling ready to perform. I think one of Steve’s strengths is his daily feedback after each session as this was my first time working with a coach and I found this invaluable. Thanks Steve!

I’m on your 10 month FULL DISTANCE Training plan with my targeted A race as FULL DISTANCE Copenhagen in August. I’d baked in a few races on the lead up and today I completed the final B race…”Lakesman 1/2″ down in Keswick..my first HALF DISTANCE distance Tri. Time 5:35:54. For some context last march I did a half marathon in 2:08! Joining your program was honestly the best decision…massive gain in fitness and a fair few pounds off aswell. I just wanted to say thanks again, Steve.
