I had the pleasure of racing Barcelona FULL DISTANCE with Steven in 2019. I knew him through friends but he went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed as part of his training group.He gave a lot of very valuable advice in the build. I smashed my PB by 1hr and 30mins doing a sub10hr full-distance, 9hrs 30mins to be exact which qualified me for a PROFESSION TRIATHLETE LICENCE!!! After Barcelona, I signed up to his coaching with the intention to race at FULL DISTANCE South Africa and through a top 6 finish there qualifying for Kona, Hawaii the FULL DISTANCE World Championships, the Holy Grail of FULL DISTANCE. Over the 3 months leading up to the race, Steven had me in amazing shape. I never felt so prepared and ready to race. I was sure I would qualify based on my training numbers and the confidence he had given me. I continue to train with Steven waiting in the long grass for the next opportunity for Kona qualification. For anyone looking for a Triathlon coach long or short course Steven is your man, I can’t recommend him enough. He can be funny too at times but most of all I just enjoy beating him 🙂
I used IM training plan, and blown away!!, first of all, is 100% structure!!, all proper cycles and stages for an inteligent and great training are in the plan. Coach Steve is always one email away, he is always available that is a perfect customer service.
Training plan made me delivered so far my best IM as of now. And I will continue using his plans in order to continue improving as I have great and big goals.

I can’t say enough about how great Coach Steve’s PB Hit squad is! I had been training on my own using his HALF DISTANCE and OLY plans for 2 yrs prior to joining the squad and I wish I had joined earlier because
1 I gained a lot of better insight into how proper testing really impacts training.
2 I didn’t realize how much I was adjusting the plan & hurting my training when on my own
3 The topics covered in the zooms were insightful and Q&A helped me talk through scenarios that worried me

This isn't just a stock plan. I've entered my first HALF DISTANCE and wanted some structure to my training, with the benefit of some questions if needed. This plan has been spot on, the workload, and the descriptions are easy to follow and build up gradually. Steve has been extremely helpful from day 1 in providing advice and tailoring the programme (i.e. Covid & no pools!). If you have entered any form of triathlon I cant recommended enough how valuable these plans are. Thanks Steve!

Since day one taking up triathlon in 2008 Stephen has been a massive reason why I’ve stuck with triathlon and enjoyed it to the extent that I have. He couldn’t do more to encourage and help those around him and is incredibly generous with both his time and knowledge. I’ve benefitted greatly from his technical knowledge and expertise, but it’s his absolute love of the sport and the passion that he brings to coaching that in my mind allows him to stand out as a coach. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

The 32-week plan (which I followed to a tee, minus a few swims) was truly phenomenal and was instrumental in helping me reach my goal of a sub-12hr (albeit “unofficial”) FULL DISTANCE finish… (My friend and I mapped out the FULL DISTANCE course and did it, along with a few other diehards, on the exact date the race would have taken place). The official entry was rolled into 2021 so I’m gearing up for what I hope will be another PR.
Happy new week! I wanted to share I took part in my first Olympic triathlon last week and got 3rd place in my age group. More importantly, is that I felt strong and comfortable during the event which was my goal! The placing was an added bonus
I just completed my first sprint Aquabike in Skerries, Dublin at the weekend
Thanks to your plan and support, I feel great, I’ve got the fitness bug again, and regularly empty my bank account (for I definitely need…) in pursuit of what is now a firm love of Aquabike training. I can’t believe I’ve trained 6-8 times a week for 20 weeks without injury: I’ve tried nearly everything and always get injured.
