Your plan really assisted me in my training. I especially enjoyed the fact that the workouts loaded to my Garmin watch and then told me what Zone to be in. The drag-and-drop calendar was great helping to move sessions around.
My fitness improved dramatically, and I lost 26lbs in weight which was an achievement in itself!
I feel a bit cheated (with cancelled swim) as I cant really say I have done a HALF DISTANCE but enjoyed the training and would definitely recommend
Was nervous training for my first tri – but emailed Coach with some questions and soon was on his beginner sprint plan – it was much less confusing then – I followed the instructions and get more and more confident as I did – and before I knew it 12 weeks later I was a triathlete! Thanks CS
I recently signed up for a half-distance in November – and Coach Steve has helped me get together a plan for the entire training.
I am currently in China, and I can’t get to any pools at all, so he has also provided strength training exercises that I can do as a replacement.
So far, I’m very impressed with the quality of the workouts, the speed at which he gets back to me (if we’re both in waking hours, responses are really quick, if I message him at 2am there, he responds early morning), and the guidance Coach Steve has provided so far.

I just finished your BEGINNER Olympic 12-week training plan and finished my first triathlon yesterday (had a flat tyre though so had to walk to T2) but felt really strong and still finished my run with a good tempo. Your training plan definitely helped me achieve that!

I purchased the 12 week HALF DISTANCE Advanced training plan. It was easy to follow, Coach Steve was very responsive & helpful via email – overall excellent value for money!
Being able to reorder sessions in TrainingPeaks is very useful, so recommend the Premium plan (which you get free for 30 days).
Following this plan allowed me to take 25 mins off my HALF DISTANCE PB (despite missing run sessions due to injury) – that says it all! Thanks Coach Steve 🙂

I started with SM by buying a HALF DISTANCE plan in Feb/22. I live in a rural area so few in person coaching options in my area. The plan worked so well for me that I joined the PBhitsquad which is a great way to feel connected with athletes from around the world. Coach Steve and Mark also provide insightful and helpful sessions covering all things Tri. I have since engaged Coach Steve for 1-2-1 coaching he keeps me focused, and is always encouraging. He has helped me finish two HALF DISTANCE this year. Thx
I’ve been working with Coach Steven as my coach since late 2015. He’s has a great flexibility to his approach which really suits any Athlete’s personal circumstances. Since he has been my coach I have achieved a number of personal bests at various distances, also I’ve learn’t a lot about the sport outside of the day to day training, understanding what to eat prior to a race, also how to prepare myself physically & mentally on race day.
TrainingPeaks is ideal for our Coach / Athlete relationship having a young family & busy job it allows us to plan ahead but move sessions easily if required. The rich data the platform provides also allows us to agree small changes to ensure we maximize the benefits of every session. The e-mail alerts when Steve comments or changes a session really helps me plan my day according to what I need to achieve as an athlete, employee & Father
