I used a combination Coach Steve's Beginner 22 week and 46-week plan in my attempt at the first full distance triathlon. I followed the plan 90% of the time and made sure those long ones on the weekend were completed. I took the recovery weeks in the plan seriously. Even if i felt great, i avoided the temptation to go out for a short run or bike. On race day, I am happy to report, i completed the race with a lot of energy to spare. Thank you Coach Steve!
After 2 years of Covid cancellations , I finally made it to the start line of the 2022 Port Macquarie HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE. It was hard to stay motivated through Covid lockdowns and weeks of rain, but Steve's program kept me focused and gave me a realistic training load and intensity. I realised I'd been overtraining, and Steve's program taught me the value of low heart rate sessions. I was impressed with Steve's quick response to emails and his reassuring and helpful advice. Really impressed with the training so far. I bought my HALF DISTANCE Intermediate plan for my upcoming HALF DISTANCE (NC) and I have to say, I’m impressed.
In 14 weeks I have raised my FTP from 198 to 243, I have improved my Time Trail Swimming from 2:10 to 1:42 and all because I have followed as close as possible (with life commitments) the plan from Coach Steve.
He does know what he is talking, he is super approachable and you can ask questions when in doubt, ask for guidance. He is great!

I purchased a 16-week marathon training
program from you with the intention of running the Cork city marathon.
Sad as I was that the race was canceled a few weeks into training I
decided to keep going with the intention of running the marathon
the distance on the day of the race regardless.
I decided to run a marathon a week early on Sunday just passed. Having
never ran a marathon I wasn’t sure what time I would be able to achieve
and set a goal of sub 3:15. Feeling good on the day I pushed on and
finished in a time of 3:06:35.
I followed your program never missing a session other than having to
cut a week out towards the end. I found it extremely helpful and
informative and would never have achieved my time or managed to stay
injury-free without it. I would certainly recommend you to others and
hopefully will use more programs from you in the future.”
First time using a training plan and it made such a positive difference to have structure in place with Training Peaks. Any questions I had on any aspect of it were always answered quickly by coach Steve and he explained things in simple easy to follow language with great hints and tips along the way. First class service and I will be back!
I took the 18 weeks marathon plan to prepare for my first marathon and succeeded! The plan and Steves support definitely contributed to reaching my goal!
The plan it self was very good and clear, and gave good variation. The quick and enthousiast email support from Steve to answer any kind of questions was a very nice addition.
