Steve was very knowledgeable and kept things interesting. The program helped me to get a better understanding of my zones for training and I enjoyed being able to get advice on upcoming events.
I bought your Olympic program and completed my Olympic yesterday, in a PB of minus 14 mins, I felt great and was delighted.
I’m really enjoying your plan, exactly what I needed. From my previous 70.3s, I feel that a lack of volume in training was my downfall. I was just making it up as I went along so this is a good change.”

Coach Steve is not for everyone! He’s not for you if you you need a pep talk every 5 mins!
He IS for you if you want detailed feedback, advice based on data, the facts! He is highly motivated and efficient, but he is also a sound listening board and a great mentor. What I found great is that he’s not afraid to stop the plan tailor the changes specifically for you!
Trust in the plan and the performance will follow! Everyone needs a ‘Coach Steve’!
Just want to say I’m loving the plan and bar this week its really trying in with my work/life balance which is really what I needed
After 4 attempts I finally broke my goal time for a marathon and QUALIFIED for Boston! All down to your plan … so delighted – thank you Coach Steve
I purchased a plan on TrainingPeaks from Steve for my first Ironman race coming up later this year and so far am very impressed with its structure, variety, and detail.
Steve has also been very quick to respond to any queries or questions I have.
I will definitely be recommending him to friends looking for good quality, structured coaching
Finishing up on your Inter IM Base plan and feeling great – FTP up, CSS down and avg LTHR for the run down!
Onto the full 36 week plan for Cork now!
This is my first time using a Coach’s training plan, the plan is easy to understand and structured which helps a lot for my novice brain. Really enjoying it so far and quite surprised at how responsive Steve is to queries and resolving any issues. I have a feeling I will be coming back to Steve after my first 70.3 to work on my next one
Having reached a plateau, it niggled that I hadn’t reached my full potential but felt it a bit pretentious engaging a coach as a middle-aged back of pack female. At initial meeting, Steve seemed just as interested in helping me reach my goals as somebody trying to get to Kona. Rapid feedback after each session means that I have had almost 100% consistency in training & the constant cycle of session & feedback has ingrained good habits. To my delight, mid-50s, I’m now stronger, fitter & faster
For me, a triathlon coach is somebody who not only produces training plans and feedback, but one who encourages one to be your best, to reach your true potential, and treats you equally no matter where you are at in the sport be it a beginner or category 1 triathlete. Steven Moody, definitely ticks those boxes. It has been such a great 11 months, that the journey will continue into 2019 to achieve some more goals!
Vancouver triathlon (olympic) was today for me with a PB, despite being with minimal sleep and training in the past 40 days (baby was born)! I haven't received the results yet but I am happy with the experience and my performance! Felt good passing some people with Team Canada jerseys on that bike! Thanks again Coach Steve for the support!
