Happy return to racing yesterday at the Nottingham Outlaw Half!
5 weeks ago I was seriously doubting my ability to finish, and started looking ahead to my A race – Weymouth 70.3 in September. With a little help from Smart Endurance Solutions in adapting a newly purchased plan (for Weymouth) in order to get me to the start line yesterday I managed to surpass my expectations of the day and finished the half marathon super strong! Thanks Coach Steve š
This plan was perfect for what I needed to train for USAT sprint Nationals. I felt fully prepared to race well, which helped me not be nervous. Not a PR only because this course had more climbing then what I normally do for a sprint but overall I hit most of my goals, had fun, and looking forward to the next one using the same plan. Thank you so so much.
Super motivator and extremely well tailored plan for my individual needs ! Always on the email and phone when advice needed ! Get involved with Mr.Moody !!
I'm doing my 5th full IM this year – IMCA and chose Coach Steve's plan as I liked the longer duration and the 50+ training plan – 2 weeks hard, 1 lighter week. I had a complication tho as I'm doing the St George 70.3 WC in mid Sept then have 2.5 weeks of travel between St George and IMCA. Coach Steve came up with a revised plan that allowed for my race, recovery, travel and then enough key workouts to be ready for IMCA.
A great job, very responsive and I highly recommend him as a Coach!
I want to thank you for the excellent plan and material you constantly send out. I am doing great with my plan I feel it is well structured
I have been using Coach Steve’s maintenance and race prep plans for 9 months. The plans have been great: easy to follow, clear progression and enjoyable. The icing on the cake has been the quick and thoughtful input I have received along the way – invaluable! I have gone from being a middle-of-the pack finisher to qualifying for the 70.3 Ironman World Championship in St George in my last race. 50+ and getting better. I can highly recommend Coach Steve and his plans.
Really enjoyed the plan it really suited my work life balance, feeling fitter and stronger.
Iām actually wrapping up one of your plans right now for a half iron in Waco on Oct 16th. Really enjoy using your plans as they truly help me finish strong and give me great confidence going into race day
Breast /lung Cancer from 2018 to 2020 chemo/radation 5 surgeries, COVID 3weeks before cork,3 kids working full time ,on the bucket list half ironman, everyone thought I was nuts, Steve didn't he believed in me and made me believe in myself, while it didn't work out on the day and I missed cut off for bike , I got thick and did my own 21 k ,just didn't cross that line , Steve has given me my confidence back, I can't recommend him enough, cork 70.3 2023, šŖšŖšŖšŖ
LOVE how the bike workout exports to Zwift!
I completed my first 70.3 this week. Thank you so much for the beginner training plan! The event was a blast, and I surprisingly completed/finished feeling strong. I was actually amazed that I was not tired during the run and I owe a lot of that to your plan. I am already browsing what other plans you have out there!
Hi Coach!
I wanted to say thanks!, simply Thanks! and thank you a lot. I followed mostly the 20 weeks plan for Training for my 70.3 and beat 3 out of my 4 goals.
1. finish under 6 hours – done
2. finish my 13.1 under 2h30 mins – done
3. be in aero for the most part of the bike – done
4. swim under 30 mins – not done but very very close!
I liked everything that you put in the program and although sometimes I was tired, life got in the way, or had other commitments, it was by all means v
