Your plan really assisted me in my training. I especially enjoyed the fact that the workouts loaded to my Garmin watch and then told me what Zone to be in. The drag-and-drop calendar was great helping to move sessions around.
My fitness improved dramatically, and I lost 26lbs in weight which was an achievement in itself!
I feel a bit cheated (with cancelled swim) as I cant really say I have done a HALF DISTANCE but enjoyed the training and would definitely recommend
I have been taking your Olympic program and it is going really well. I’ve seen so much improvement!
The plan is very useful and practical ,its my first time doing a training plan with training peak , and its very good.
I recently bought a HALF DISTANCE plan and had some questions in relation to testing etc. The feedback I got was so swift and any query I’ve had relation to the training set were answered so quickly. It’s my first time training on my runs with HR and I’m loving it. A more structured approach is really working for me and having a coach to answer any questions is superb. an investment I should have done years go
I am currently about halfway through your marathon off-season plan, trying to slowly build up my mileage after a rocky year of injury from running, ahead of a marathon block leading into a full distance full-distance block. The plan is going great and I am enjoying the variety and gaining fitness at a good rate without having to push too much in the off-season which is nice
I’m entering week 20 of your ADVANCED FULL DISTANCE 32 week (50yrs+, HR-based) program. Really enjoying the plan so far, making great progress, and—knock on wood—remain injury-free.
Very thankful to Steve for putting together a plan for me to help make sure I’m ready to go for FULL DISTANCE Cork 2022! Definitely come to Steve if you’re looking for something similar. The turnaround time was super quick and the plan is very thorough. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
Thanks for the support on Saturday Coach. Was an epic experience!!
Race went beter than expected, swim pace was higher than planned (think it was with the tide though) and the bike splits were solid and managed a sub 3 hr ride while keeping the HR sensible. Run started ok, hoping to find my legs towards the end, but didn’t. Still happy with my time of 5:32. Glad I followed your advice and tips!!
Awesome, thanks!
Wow Coach Steve— I really admire how you go above and beyond to help us out.
Hi Coach Steve,
I just wanted to update you that my first Olympic triathlon was yesterday and it was so fun! My goals were to have fun and finish with enough energy left to play with my 4 and 2 year old, and I succeeded. Following your advice, I dropped one run day and completed the rest of the training at 75% the prescribed time/distance. Next time I’ll pick a Beginner plan! 😂
Thoroughly enjoyed your training guidance!
What a fantastic service. Coach Steve is very responsive and clearly knows his stuff. I purchased a HALF DISTANCE training programme which Coach Steve personalised specifically for my training time restrictions, Wattbike and strengths. The program uploaded to training peaks is detailed enough to have some clearly thought out science behind it, yet explained simple enough for me to understand and implement it! Highly recommended – 5 out of 5!
I finished my first Olympic triathlon, third in my age group! Which considering the weather conditions were horrific- cold and stormy.. (it rained the entire time and the water was incredibly rough and choppy!) I’m proud! I did have to miss some workouts, but followed the plan pretty consistently overall and felt prepared and was happy with the plan! Thanks so much
