I’ve never signed up to a structured training plan before.
So for me your plan & the structure & Trainingpeaks is great motivation. Trying to get those boxes to go green keeps me on my toes.
I really like the way the plan is laid out. Eg the swims are normally on the same days of the week, so it’s easier to plan them.
I already feel fitter & stronger than I have in a long time…..so the plan works 🙂
Thank you for all your Support. I’m training for FULL DISTANCE #7. First time that I use a online Coach. Now I wish I had started or found Steve = smartendurancesolution earlier. He is really smart, helpful and structured.
I’m really loving the plan and it’s been a help confidence wise in my training. Thanks again!
Anyone looking to dip their toe into the world of triathlon and want a coach or a training plan look no further than Steve Moody. As someone on the wrong side of their mid forties and somewhat daunted by the thought of doing a full FULL DISTANCE I contacted Steve and I’m so glad I did. Steve was supportive, generous with his time ,very knowledgeable and always eager to help.In addition he regularly provides you with helpful hints to keep you motivated and on track with your training. Brilliant Coach
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought my first training plan. I didn’t even really believe Coach Steve would actually email me promptly and answer my concerns. But, I needed a plan and his fit me. Not only did his plan lead to me finishing 21 minutes under goal time, but he always was there to answer any question I had. I was so thrilled with his plan that I have purchased one of his HALF DISTANCE plans and have great confidence it will again lead me to success.
I completed the Dublin Marathon based off your training plan from June.
My first marathon ( done a couple of halves before) and first time trying running in HR zones rather than just run as fast as you can.
Delighted with my result. Thanks
Even with a bad photo you can probably see that I was pretty relaxed finishing my very first FULL DISTANCE distance in a pretty decent time. While I was running people couldn’t believe how little I was sweating! Well that’s all down to the excellent training plan I followed to the letter ( Well as much as I could) from our very own Coach Steve. Thanks again Coach!
I’m writing this review as a 3-day old FULL DISTANCE. And I did it with the help of a “46 weeks Beginner FULL DISTANCE plan”. Before starting the plan I had done sub 4h marathon but I had zero racing or even training experience in swimming and biking. When I was choosing my plan I wrote for several online couches with my questions and I liked Steve’s answers the most. I didn’t regret choosing his plan a single time. Steve answered all the questions that I had during the training, he also adjusted the plan to fit my race day(my race was almost a month earlier than I have planned). The training plan wasn’t easy but what else can you expect when training for FULL DISTANCE? Be prepared that weekends will be tough but they will make YOU tough as well. I was confident before the race that I will finish it. Thank you, Steve, for making my dream come true!
I used the beginner Olympic training plan for my first ever triathlon.Coach Steve's guides, YouTube videos, and carefully mapped out training plan, which flexed with my own HR/training zones through the Training Peaks app, made it clear what my goals around every event should be. I felt his training plan was foundational to my success – I exceeded my goal time and had a blast doing it. I will come back to him for any future training plans!
The plan has worked great and fitter that I’ve ever been coming into the race this Sunday.
Thank you Coach, Seville Marathon was a good race for me and came from 3:52 to 3:39.
Thanks for the support on Saturday Coach. Was an epic experience!!
Race went beter than expected, swim pace was higher than planned (think it was with the tide though) and the bike splits were solid and managed a sub 3 hr ride while keeping the HR sensible. Run started ok, hoping to find my legs towards the end, but didn’t. Still happy with my time of 5:32. Glad I followed your advice and tips!!
