    Previously coached by Steve in 2016 when undertaking Full IM training. 5 years, 3 kids and a few stone later I'm back working with Steve, training towards Ironman Cork 70.3 in August 2021. Steve has tailored my training excellently to allow for family and work commitments as well as dilligently managing my training load to reduce the risk of injury and allow consistent progress.     I’m so glad I found your plan to help me accomplish my goal of completing my first triathlon this year. With no prior triathlon experience, I signed up for the Timberman 70.3 which was held on 9/18/22. I signed up for this race in late 2021. In January, I purchased this plan – INTERMEDIATE 70.3 32 week plan includes email access to Coach, reusable, HR based and got started in February. I completed my 70.3 in 6 hours, 11 minutes and am very pleased with this

    I’ve trained and raced alongside Coach Steve for the past two years and he always brings a lighthearted sense of humour to sessions while at the same time being clearly dedicated to improving his own and others performance. His dedication to the sport of triathlon is second to none and since signing up to SMart Endurance Steve has been both helpful and professional and has provided me with a 70.3 training plan that suits my needs and experience.     I purchased this Intermediate plan for my first Ironman. I had previously done a 70.3; for the 70.3 I made my own plan and struggled with overtraining. I felt this plan was just what I needed it to be, it provided a good structure, will a repeatable pattern, a steady build complemented by rest weeks. By the time my race came, I made a prediction table; due to my extensive training, my prediction was very accurate for each discipline. I recommend getting a training plan if its not your 1st.

    I have completed 2 half distances and on full IM & would highly recommend this plan. It's logical, easy to follow, and really gets you to enjoy the process of getting to the start line with the confidence that you are in the great shape to complete the event. All individual advice from Coach Steve was excellent, pragmatic, and delivered with reference to my individual targets & ability. And of course with the right balance of fun! I exceeded my goals on all the legs using this plan!

    The 32-week plan (which I followed to a tee, minus a few swims) was truly phenomenal and was instrumental in helping me reach my goal of a sub-12hr (albeit “unofficial”) Ironman finish… (My friend and I mapped out the Ironman course and did it, along with a few other diehards, on the exact date the race would have taken place). The official entry was rolled into 2021 so I’m gearing up for what I hope will be another PR.

    I would like to say thank you again for your support. I finished my #7 Ironman in personal best 10:05h. The bike course was 5km longer and the transition area was super long. So I believe i would have been sub 10 🙂 I’m very happy with my performance/results.

    I recently bought a half ironman plan and had some questions in relation to testing etc. The feedback I got was so swift and any query I’ve had relation to the training set were answered so quickly. It’s my first time training on my runs with HR and I’m loving it. A more structured approach is really working for me and having a coach to answer any questions is superb. an investment I should have done years go

    Thank you sooo much for the 70.3 plan!!! It was perfect. I questioned the taper weeks so so little to do but day before race my garmin actually said peaking. I was recovered and fresh. I PR’d my 70.3 on same course I did last year first week of December. Attached is photos from garmin for PR proof:). Thanks again. Love your plans.

    I searched through a number of training programmes on Training Peaks and was delighted I chose Coach Steve and Smart Endurance Solutions.
    From a long time absence away from triathlon, I wanted something that would get me up to date without having to think too hard, and that would also adapt to my own development.
    So far it has challenged me without being over-faced. The Facebook community and ability to email Coach Steve is a really nice extra for such a good value package.
