I recently bought a program from Steve through training peaks to start my training with the goal of finishing my first full-distance this coming October. Used the “Marathon Intermediate 12 week plan – 40 – 70 km per week” and it brought me from a 4hr16 marathon to a 3hr25 marathon. Great plan and easy to follow. Volume is sufficient and not too much and therefore I managed to stay injury free.
I joined the program with some sort of hesitation from deviating from my current functional program I follow.
But since joining the SES program my fitness has increased like never before! My body has reacted really well and I can’t wait to see the results on race day.
Steve has been great and made the program super clear and accessible through the online platform.

The IM plan that I had previously was great – got me through IMNZ in March, taking over an hour off my previous time. This year I went for the intermediate plan rather than a beginner to use the additional swimming and riding to make up for the run. All in all, really happy with the outcome.

Thanks to your plan and support, I feel great, I’ve got the fitness bug again, and regularly empty my bank account (for I definitely need…) in pursuit of what is now a firm love of Aquabike training. I can’t believe I’ve trained 6-8 times a week for 20 weeks without injury: I’ve tried nearly everything and always get injured.

I never thought I would have done the FULL DISTANCE. The full distance plan made it easy. Steve is very experienced and knowledgeable, and can help anyone work through any hurdles as they train.
