Loving the plan, started the 32 week beginner 70.3 plan in early Jan with A race coinciding with Cork in August. Been following it to the letter and while I’d be a strong swimmer and cyclist, I’m seeing massive gains in my run having gone from a 1:45 half marathon to running an 18km training run comfortably in z2 at 4:50 average (including 2km warm up and cool down), at the tail end of a 3 week base block! If you’d told me that 6 months ago I’d have laughed at you
I participated in the Philadelphia marathon in PA, USA. It was my first marathon and your plan really helped me through it!
Very impressed with the level of detail and guidance in each workout, easy to get to grips with bits of TP functionality is didn’t know were there, enjoying the work so far
I would like to say thank you again for your support. I finished my #7 Ironman in personal best 10:05h. The bike course was 5km longer and the transition area was super long. So I believe i would have been sub 10 🙂 I’m very happy with my performance/results.
Plans are detailed and easy to follow and Coach Steve´s support is exceptional. Could definitely see and feel improvement even halfway through the program.
I was looking for a long-term Ironman training plan. Only coach Steve offers such a program (48 weeks, shorter ones are also available). Before purchasing the plan I asked him which plan would be better for me (There are advanced, intermediate, and beginner plans). Steve took the time to understand my fitness level and needs, before recommending a plan (intermediate). He was also very responsive and answered all my questions rapidly and in detail: He not only provides you an answer but also explains why he gave that answer, which is very useful. The plan itself is well thought and the workouts are clearly explained which is important to perform them efficiently.
I highly recommend coach Steve. Knowing that you can count on an expert is highly motivating.
I first contacted Steve in 2019 for some coaching and remember phoning him for an initial chat to scope out my options. He insisted that he should come around in person, for a kick start meeting. I was immediately impressed with his enthusiasm and passion for what he does. Since then, I've managed to complete my first full ironman last year and am currently following one of Steve's intermediate IM programs to prepare for Cork IM. I would have no problem recommending him anyone.
Thanks Steve

Didn’t have to think about a thing! Followed the plan and the rest follows! QED
I'm doing my 5th full IM this year – IMCA and chose Coach Steve's plan as I liked the longer duration and the 50+ training plan – 2 weeks hard, 1 lighter week. I had a complication tho as I'm doing the St George 70.3 WC in mid Sept then have 2.5 weeks of travel between St George and IMCA. Coach Steve came up with a revised plan that allowed for my race, recovery, travel and then enough key workouts to be ready for IMCA.
A great job, very responsive and I highly recommend him as a Coach!
I have been using Coach Steve’s maintenance and race prep plans for 9 months. The plans have been great: easy to follow, clear progression and enjoyable. The icing on the cake has been the quick and thoughtful input I have received along the way – invaluable! I have gone from being a middle-of-the pack finisher to qualifying for the 70.3 Ironman World Championship in St George in my last race. 50+ and getting better. I can highly recommend Coach Steve and his plans.
The combination of this training program and access to coach Steve is invaluable.
The first time I trained for an Ironman 70.3 I just found a workout on the internet. It worked, but that’s it.
Being able to bounce questions off of Steve throughout the training has been a major confidence boost for me. I feel like I’m actually doing things the right way now! And it’s more fun to have a friend encouraging you along the way!!
Coach Steve put together a comprehensive training plan for 70.3 Mallorca. Steve took the time to make sure the plan takes into account Christmas break, my other commitments (college) and B races along the way. I’m really happy with it and started training this week with only 20 weeks to go to the race. Bring it on!!!
