Used and loved Coach Steve’s 70.3 plan – as not only got me fit and strong but got me that elusive PB … not bad for a guy nearly hitting 50! Age is just a number! Thanks CS
After completing a number of half Ironmanโs I reached a plateau in training and was finding it difficult to move forward.
I enrolled in a training program with Coach Steve and after setting my goals he starting providing feedback on a weekly basis on my sessions.
In between I obtained pbs in sprint and Olympic distance.
After postponement of events he changed plan to accommodate my desires.
The result a 5.28 in Ironman 70.3 Turkey at 53 years without any major injuries along the way.

I am using coach Steve's intermediate 20 week plan to prepare for this season. Every session is super easy to follow, when loaded into TrainingPeaks they sync with my watch which is great! If I do have a question I can email Steve, and he's always quick to respond with clarifications and encouragement :-). My power has increased on the bike, and I have PB'd a local 10k race already in the build up to the season. Highly recommend getting one of these plans. I am going get a70.3 plan next
The combination of this training program and access to coach Steve is invaluable.
The first time I trained for an Ironman 70.3 I just found a workout on the internet. It worked, but that’s it.
Being able to bounce questions off of Steve throughout the training has been a major confidence boost for me. I feel like I’m actually doing things the right way now! And it’s more fun to have a friend encouraging you along the way!!

Was looking for a plan that would keep me on track and get me back into triathlon training after a few years off. Steve got me back into the swing of things. Super to have someone in your corner to push you to where you need to me.

I am really happy about the program that you built for me.
Two weeks ago, half marathon in less than 2h and last week-end, this beautiful race IronMaori (quarter) in 2h42 swim 1km 18min bike 45km 1h32 run 10km 47m. Unexpected!
Training is hard but good. My body changed a lot! Skinner than usual but I feel a big change in my mobility and stamina.
So thank you so much again. You made miracles even if I know that the most difficult part is not happened yet.
When I asked Steve if I could use his logo for my blog he replied yes asked that I share my blog site with him. He had a look at some of my posts and replied his coach senses were tingling. After some coach and athlete banter, we both agreed that based on my goals and this is the first IRONMAN I should move to the intermediate plan.
I have to say it is the best money I have spent!
Was Coached by Steve in 2019-2020 for Ironman Cork. I started off with relatively little triathlon experience. From the get go I knew Steve was an excellent coach, his daily feedback and training progression over the months were unmatched. I went from feeling like an ironman was an impossible task to aiming for times which I could only dream of before starting with Steve. I've found SMART ENDURANCE SOLUTIONS 70.3 plans to work really well for me. I've seen my results improve while following his plans. It takes the "thinking / overthinking" out of the training process and I just have to do the sessions and trust in the process. Steve replies quickly to my queries and always has helpful advice when needed. He was able to design a custom plan which was tailored to my strengths and accounted for my club swim sessions, Zwift sessions and solo runs. Thanks!
