Happy return to racing yesterday at the Nottingham Outlaw Half!
5 weeks ago I was seriously doubting my ability to finish, and started looking ahead to my A race – Weymouth 70.3 in September. With a little help from Smart Endurance Solutions in adapting a newly purchased plan (for Weymouth) in order to get me to the start line yesterday I managed to surpass my expectations of the day and finished the half marathon super strong! I’ve tried a few different plans in the past & Steve is most def a coach who listens & will be sure to identify what your base, strengths and weaknesses are to come up with a solution that works best for you. Steve is open to adjust the plan & offers advice when life gets in the way. A lot to be said for a SMart plan that works around your life & the goals you’ve set for yourself no matter how challenging they are.

Bought your plan to keep me focused – ended up not only losing weight but making serious gains on my weakest discipline – the run …. now holding 6 min/km for a zone 2 run – giddy up! Thanks Coach Steve

Just want to say I’m loving the plan and bar this week its really trying in with my work/life balance which is really what I needed
Both me and my wife are using 36 weeks ironman training program from smartendurancesolution, this will be her first full ironman and my third full ironman. This program we use now is specially made for ironman Italy / emilia – romania by smartendurancesolution. So i have good comperance on other programs, I highly recommend smartendurancesolution ironman training plan.
As a beginner to both TrainingPeaks and using a coach, I was thoroughly impressed with how simple and (so far) effective Coach Steve’s plan is. I’m quite hot on hitting the right sessions at the right intensity to be able to be the best athlete I can come race day and Coach Steve’s method has allowed me to be rested for the hard sessions and spent enough after to enable strong benefits through recovery. Steve has also been very helpful with answering any questions/suspicions I may have in using my data, planning for the race, and choosing the right plan. I’m currently about halfway through my race plan, and already itching to get going!
You’re doing a great job motivating people! I like the funny and informal way you explain things in Trainingpeaks and in the PDF-documents.
Just to say many thanks for the 12 week half IM training plan. I completed Dun Laoghaire in 5:54, albeit with the shorter swim. Delighted.
Steve was very knowledgeable and kept things interesting. The program helped me to get a better understanding of my zones for training and I enjoyed being able to get advice on upcoming events.
15 months without racing but I can honestly say that Coach Steve's plans keep me motivated day in day out. Recently we discussed and changed my training regime from IM to Olympic distance training. Yep, due to this bad worldwide situation my IM dream is on hold for the time being. I m honestly more confident as an athlete thanks to Steve's base training and yeah I m so ready and pumped to race!
