Just a few weeks out from my first 70.3. Coach Steve has helped me keep motivated and as best prepared anyone could ask for. Great tips , advice all the way through.
Definitely going on another plan under Steve’s guidance.
I loved this program. It fit really well with my non-triathlon life and I really noticed an improvement in my fitness. The workouts were well structured and included a suitable amount of recovery time.
Long distance debut yesterday….12hrs 56mins wow man I still can't believe it! Hats off to everyone doing it on regular basis…one hell of a distance! Thank you Coach Steve
Followed the 70.3 training programme from Coach Steve on training peaks prior to competing in Tri X, advertised as the world’s toughest half iron. This was my first triathlon and I couldn’t of done it without the excellent training advice. Going into the race the fittest I have been in a very long time, taking 6th in my age group and 21st overall. Thanks Coach Steve, on to the next one!
I like your training for 50+ people, I feel I am recuperating better, I was doing another training plan but I like this one better. Feeling stronger every day.
Currently, training using coach Steve’s beginner plan, I am founding his plan great and in line with my expectations and my time availability, also coach Steve was super helpful and responsive when answering queries. Highly recommended and if I am going to survive my first Ironman 70.3 will be down to his training plans.
Steve has been nothing short of brilliant. The initial consultation was thorough which gave me utter confidence in choosing the right plan. The plan itself was incredibly easy to follow with plenty of reading to keep me well informed. This all gave me the perfect springboard to smash my PB at the 70.3 distance. I felt strong and well-rested, which was all down to the plan allowing me to be race-ready. I'd highly recommend Steve for your plan. Thank you, Steve, you hero. ++
In the past 2 weeks I have set PBs for Watts for 30 and 60 min on the bike, I did my fastest ever 30km on the bike last night (beating my old time by a few minutes, even after running 10km in the stinking hot morning), and I actually feel like a somewhat competent swimmer these days! So overall, I am really happy with the workouts and program in general so THANK YOU!
After 4 attempts I finally broke my goal time for a marathon and QUALIFIED for Boston! All down to your plan … so delighted – thank you Coach Steve
I want to let you know that my son, CJ Hoff, finished his Ironman Wisconsin last weekend. It was brutally cold and wet. Rained all day. He used your beginning plan, originally supposed to be for Texas but had to move to Wisconsin.
He is 18 and this was his first triathlon. He will be heading to Boot camp for the Marines on Monday. The training was a great success and perfect for getting him ready for the military. Thank you!
I completed Ironman 70.3 Muncie this past weekend. It was a big success (for me) my first completion under my belt.
Anyone looking to dip their toe into the world of triathlon and want a coach or a training plan look no further than Steve Moody. As someone on the wrong side of their mid forties and somewhat daunted by the thought of doing a full Ironman I contacted Steve and I’m so glad I did. Steve was supportive, generous with his time ,very knowledgeable and always eager to help.In addition he regularly provides you with helpful hints to keep you motivated and on track with your training. Brilliant Coach
