Sorry for delay in posting but just wanted to say a few weeks back I smashed my PB with your intermediate marathon plan – found the race pace sessions had me so dialled in for execution on the day – so will be looking for a new plan for Boston! Thanks Coach Steve
From couch potato to two-time 70.3 finisher thanks to coach Steven Moody.
I just wanted to say thanks for the brilliant plans this year – I’ve just done the Olympic one for London T100 Olympic, and I really enjoyed it. It felt like a good balance of interesting swim sessions, some good run speed work, and lots of brick sessions. I’ve tried your plans before and was impressed. Next year will be back to doing 70.3 training, so I’ll look forward to getting one of your plans for that.
I completed the San Francisco marathon a couple weeks ago and I owe you and your training plan a huge thanks for getting me ready! Thank you!
I jumped into triathlon after not having done hardly any exercise for over a decade. I did a sprint to see if this was something I liked and I did. I signed up for a IMHALF DISTANCE and immediately bought Steve's HALF DISTANCE plan. I quickly saw progress with his extremely well structured plan and finished feeling great. Had it not been for Steve's plan I would have struggled to train and definitely would not have been able to finish like I did. I'm buying his IM plan and continuing on to the next level. Thanks!
I first contacted Steve in 2019 for some coaching and remember phoning him for an initial chat to scope out my options. He insisted that he should come around in person, for a kick start meeting. I was immediately impressed with his enthusiasm and passion for what he does. Since then, I've managed to complete my first full full-distance last year and am currently following one of Steve's intermediate IM programs to prepare for Cork IM. I would have no problem recommending him anyone.
Thanks Steve
This is to thank Steven Moody /Smart endurance solutions for my training plan which has got me across the finish line at Ironman Lanzarote in one piece, yesterday. This has been a bucket-list event for me since I first saw this statue at Puerto del Carmen promenade a few months after my first sprint triathlon. And to cap it off, I got a place for Ironman women’s world championships in September
I’ve never signed up to a structured training plan before.
So for me your plan & the structure & Trainingpeaks is great motivation. Trying to get those boxes to go green keeps me on my toes.
I really like the way the plan is laid out. Eg the swims are normally on the same days of the week, so it’s easier to plan them.
I already feel fitter & stronger than I have in a long time…..so the plan works 🙂
I used the beginner Olympic training plan for my first ever triathlon.Coach Steve's guides, YouTube videos, and carefully mapped out training plan, which flexed with my own HR/training zones through the Training Peaks app, made it clear what my goals around every event should be. I felt his training plan was foundational to my success – I exceeded my goal time and had a blast doing it. I will come back to him for any future training plans!
I’m truly impressed with what the plan has done for me, and I really want to thank you for it!
Steve
I just wanted to give you some feedback. I purchased a long distance triathlon training plan from you a couple of years ago which I used that year and to compete in this year’s European long distance triathlon championships in the Netherlands.
I’d like to say that I stuck religiously to the training plan but that wouldn’t be totally honest, however, the structure of the plan was excellent and this year I managed a PB overall, a PB on the bike and a PB on the run. I PQ’d for age group
Lots of grim cold winter training paid off with a pb in the swim bike and run with an overall pb of 25 minutes.
Big shout out to Coach Steve for yet another great pb making training plan.
