The IM plan that I had previously was great – got me through IMNZ in March, taking over an hour off my previous time. This year I went for the intermediate plan rather than a beginner to use the additional swimming and riding to make up for the run. All in all, really happy with the outcome.
Being a complete novice in the triathlon world, I thought what better way to ease myself in to it than doing a full FULL DISTANCE. I knew immediately I needed some form of guidance and I am so glad I came across Steve and his various detailed training plans. Even if purchasing a standalone plan, Steve has been on hand to return my emails and give me answers to the many questions I have had.
It's very apparent that Steve is dedicated in his coaching and I wouldn't look anywhere else for help/coaching.
Coach Steve Moody is a great FULL DISTANCE Triathlon coach on Training Peaks. He is extremely accessible on email when I’m struggling. He takes the time to respond and adjust my workouts. I really appreciate the way he has tailored a training plan, especially for 50+-year-old athletes. Another thing that has helped me is the fact that Coach Steve has written a plan for 48 weeks compared to other plans that are only for 36 weeks or less. His plans use heart rate and power. I like how I can jump on my indoor bike and all I have to do is go to Zwift and Coach Steve’s Training Peaks workouts are automatically there for me! His plans are affordable, reusable, and effective.
I’ve just finished an excellent HALF DISTANCE training weekend in Youghal with Steve and Mark.
They took us round the course (including the infamous Windmill Hill!!!) and gave us lots of advice on the course itself, training, nutrition etc .
At best I’m average and I’ll admit I was a bit anxious that the weekend might have been too fast and more for stronger athletes but I was thankfully wrong- we divided into groups and worked together and it was great. And really good fun!!!!!
I crushed the race! Placed 3rd in my age group! First time I’ve made the podium in any race. Huge confidence boost, and it was nice to see my hard work reflected

I’m really enjoying this training plan. It’s my first time using training peaks and the accountability is incredible as well as the benefits of not having to think about a training routine for the week. Plus all the data!!!
Steve was very knowledgeable and kept things interesting. The program helped me to get a better understanding of my zones for training and I enjoyed being able to get advice on upcoming events.

I’ve tried a few different plans in the past & Steve is most def a coach who listens & will be sure to identify what your base, strengths and weaknesses are to come up with a solution that works best for you. Steve is open to adjust the plan & offers advice when life gets in the way. A lot to be said for a SMart plan that works around your life & the goals you’ve set for yourself no matter how challenging they are.

Earlier this year I finished the IM Texas with help of your training program. I didn’t follow it 100%, but having a training plan was a great way of keeping track. I got a PR with 20 minutes faster compared to last year (11:40).
