For that B race we targeted, I came in 2nd overall and won my age group by a wide margin. It was great to get some experience with that length of event, to practice my transitions, and to get more confidence going into my A race (Olympic) in two weeks. As you suggested, I didn’t taper at all and was able to continue with the plan by the next morning. Strong testament I think to your plan. My body feels good. Thanks again.
I found Steve’s training plan originally on training peaks, and have used these training plans to get me to FULL DISTANCE UK and FULL DISTANCE Portugal this year, Steve advice, experience and guidance enable me to finish FULL DISTANCE Portugal in a time that I could originally only dream of. Steve webinars on YouTube and really helped prepare for the races, preparing me for what to expect on race day, the training plan was easy to follow and gave me accountability ensuring I was ready for race day. The HALF DISTANCE training plan from Steve was brilliant and was key to completing my first HALF DISTANCE. The balance of set training days alongside rest was perfectly balanced and fitted my family/work life without much stress. Steve was great at answering my e-mailed questions almost immediately and I have already been in touch to discuss my next plan for an FULL DISTANCE Full which shows how good Steve and his plans are! Highly recommend to anyone starting their Triathlon journey!

I did it, I finished my very first FULL DISTANCE 🥳💪🏽✌🏼
And therefore I want to thank you so much for everything. Without your plan and email support I am not sure if I would have finished it… on top, I did the IM completely (with my buddy) on my own because all race from FULL DISTANCE were cancelled because of Corona.
In the end my dream came through on 6.9.2020 after 12:19:52 hrs.

I wanted to say thanks!, simply Thanks! and thank you a lot. I followed mostly the 20 weeks plan for Training for my HALF DISTANCE and beat 3 out of my 4 goals.
1. finish under 6 hours – done
2. finish my 13.1 under 2h30 mins – done
3. be in aero for the most part of the bike – done
4. swim under 30 mins – not done but very very close!
I liked everything that you put in the program and although sometimes I was tired, life got in the way, or had other commitments, it was by all means v
Honestly I couldn’t recommend these plans enough this is my second plan and I’ve loved it again. Plus my emails are always answered within 10 minutes of sending !
Just wanted to say thanks for your advanced Oly training program I enjoyed it and used it for my race this weekend (1500 m lake / 28 mi bike / 10 K run). Fun getting back into it, even if a little more effort beating the “young bucks” now that I am 50 years young/old!
