After completing my HALF DISTANCE in Barcelona at 5:53, I joined the PB Hit squad for improved training. Coach Steve and Coach Mark’s meticulous sessions and calls transformed my performance. With their guidance, I’ve achieved numerous PB’s since then. The PB Hit squad is the ultimate training experience for progress. I am sure that by joining the PB hit squad it has transformed my training.
So Coach, the season is now done for me! I completed Outlaw X HALF DISTANCE on Sunday in a PB time of 5:13. My previous like for like was 5:36 in June 2019. So 2 years older and 23 minutes faster! Happy with that.
I purchased a plan on TrainingPeaks from Steve for my first FULL DISTANCE race coming up later this year and so far am very impressed with its structure, variety, and detail.
Steve has also been very quick to respond to any queries or questions I have.
I will definitely be recommending him to friends looking for good quality, structured coaching
I’m excited to report with the help of Coach Steve’s HALF DISTANCE 14 week, Intermediate level HR based training plan, I was able to finish my HALF DISTANCE race debut in 5:29 which was 30 MINUTES faster than my goal! I am thrilled with my results and can’t thank Coach Steve enough for his advice and wonderful (and very affordable) training plans! Can’t wait for the next race!
Previously coached by Steve in 2016 when undertaking Full IM training. 5 years, 3 kids and a few stone later I'm back working with Steve, training towards FULL DISTANCE Cork HALF DISTANCE in August 2021. Steve has tailored my training excellently to allow for family and work commitments as well as dilligently managing my training load to reduce the risk of injury and allow consistent progress. As ever, Steve is personable, easy going and flexible, always putting the athlete first. Would highly recommend!

I set out looking to do a full distance FULL DISTANCE event with no previous experience of triathlon and no idea what a training plan would look like. I had no idea where to start so I got the beginner time crunched FULL DISTANCE plan, I have a part time job while studying engineering at university so my time was slim. I wasn’t racing for a time I was racing to get to the finish and this plan fit my schedule amazingly and I made it to the line ! I now have the bug for triathlon and purchased my second plan
Just writing a short post to say thanks Steve for your training plan for my first HALF DISTANCE which was Outlaw Bowood. You patiently entertained many of my e-mails in the beginning when I was unsure about beginner or intermediate and helped me go for latter. Glad I did!
So today came in with a 6:12 time which considering on the run little of it is flat I was delighted with.
Steve's plan helped me successfully complete my first HALF DISTANCE! The plan was manageable and I felt like I was able to move my workouts around as my scheduled allowed. I will be using the plan again to train for my next HALF DISTANCE. Steve also provided helpful emails throughout the training plan.
I loved your plan [INTERMEDIATE HALF DISTANCE 24 week plan (50yrs+)] ,I bought last spring so much now I am looking for a winter base training plan!
The plan has worked great and fitter that I’ve ever been coming into the race this Sunday.
