I recently completed my first HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE race, and I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Coach Steve Moody and his team at Smart Endurance Solutions. Their Beginner HALF DISTANCE triathlon training plan has transformed me from someone who struggled to run 10km two years ago into a confident & capable triathlete. I couldn't be happier with the results and the support I received throughout the entire process. The training plan offered by Coach Steve is exceptionally well-structured and value for money!
Steve's plan helped me successfully complete my first HALF DISTANCE! The plan was manageable and I felt like I was able to move my workouts around as my scheduled allowed. I will be using the plan again to train for my next HALF DISTANCE. Steve also provided helpful emails throughout the training plan.
Not only did I podium my age group and PB’d, I felt great throughout training, and after the race. Felt good enough to go out after the race with my family and went to an all day music festival the next day. The way coach Steve’s plan manages intensity enabled me to stay injury free and still get in the best shape of my life at age 46. Only time I felt any tweak in my legs was a two day period when I stupidly deviated from the plan. Stick to the plan, it works!

The plan Steven created for me provided the structure and motivation that was missing when I trained on my own. This made all the difference to my training weeks and was instrumental in helping me reach my race day goal!
I can’t say enough about how great Coach Steve’s PB Hit squad is! I had been training on my own using his HALF DISTANCE and OLY plans for 2 yrs prior to joining the squad and I wish I had joined earlier because
1 I gained a lot of better insight into how proper testing really impacts training.
2 I didn’t realize how much I was adjusting the plan & hurting my training when on my own
3 The topics covered in the zooms were insightful and Q&A helped me talk through scenarios that worried me
I recently signed up for a half-distance in November – and Coach Steve has helped me get together a plan for the entire training.
I am currently in China, and I can’t get to any pools at all, so he has also provided strength training exercises that I can do as a replacement.
So far, I’m very impressed with the quality of the workouts, the speed at which he gets back to me (if we’re both in waking hours, responses are really quick, if I message him at 2am there, he responds early morning), and the guidance Coach Steve has provided so far.

Completed the FULL DISTANCE training camp last weekend in Youghal with Steve and would highly recommend! Great info and course specific knowledge learned during the camp. If thinking of doing an FULL DISTANCE would recommend Steve’s training camp. Thanks again see you in August! Dave

Thanks to your plan, I finished Kona last October as a first timer. Definitely made some mistakes but didn't need the Med Tent at the finish.
Awesome beginner FULL DISTANCE plan from Steve with great email support where needed. Helped take me to my first FULL DISTANCE in 12.44. I found the plan helped me balance training with family…aswell as possible with this kind of thing anyway! Onto the next one, cheers steve
