Great program – easy to follow with links for drill demonstrations. Of course the programming isn’t easy….but if you are training for a long distance it probably shouldn’t be 😉
I worked with Steve in preparation for my first FULL DISTANCE in Cork in 2019. Steve left no stone unturned in getting me to the start line ready for action. He ran a course reccce weekend which was invaluable and shared some super raceway advice. The training plan and coaching was excellent as was the feedback from Steve who was always available. After 2 years of Covid cancellations , I finally made it to the start line of the 2022 Port Macquarie HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE. It was hard to stay motivated through Covid lockdowns and weeks of rain, but Steve's program kept me focused and gave me a realistic training load and intensity. I realised I'd been overtraining, and Steve's program taught me the value of low heart rate sessions. I was impressed with Steve's quick response to emails and his reassuring and helpful advice. Just wanted to drop a note to say really i’ve enjoyed the first 2 weeks. Great program that really suits me. Just need to start understanding the numbers during the first recovery week and see the improvements.

I’m only 5 weeks in to my 32 week beginner FULL DISTANCE training plan and
have already seen huge improvements in my fitness…especially my
running! At the start, 4 km seemed like a hurdle but now I’m easily
running 7-12 km 3+ times a week. It took me months to reach those kind
of distances when I was training for a half several years back.
On top of the great plans, Coach Steve has been incredibly accessible
and has helped to move around my workouts to work with my crazy
schedule and my fitness level…it’s been super helpful knowing that
there’s someone there to help and build a bit flexibility into the
program, rather than just skipping workouts all together.
I’m really just getting started and already have a ton of confidence
in my ability to make it across the finish line. I would highly
recommend SMart Endurance Solutions and Coach Steve

Thanks to your plan, I finished Kona last October as a first timer. Definitely made some mistakes but didn't need the Med Tent at the finish.
I completed the full-distance last Sunday, August 13. My time was 14:18.16.
Thank you for helping me accomplish this goal of mine. Also, through training for this, I learned how much I love cycling and I hope to participate in some cycling races in the near future.
