I Found Steves Intermediate Olympic training plan a gamechanger. The blended layout of lower and higher intensity workouts was perfect! His online support was also great, helping me out a few times. I will be using Steve again in 2024 for an FULL DISTANCE HALF DISTANCE plan.

Just wanted to say thanks for your advanced Oly training program I enjoyed it and used it for my race this weekend (1500 m lake / 28 mi bike / 10 K run). Fun getting back into it, even if a little more effort beating the “young bucks” now that I am 50 years young/old!

One of the best decisions I've made in my short triathlon career to date was having Steven as my coach. I went from being barely able to run 5km without stopping multiple times to consistently placing top of my age group and winning the Sprint Age Group National Championships. I bought the 24 week Olympic training plan and it has exceeded my expectations.
Not only are the workouts clearly defined in Training Peaks with usefully notes, but the additional support via email has been excellent. Any issue or concern I had was quickly responded to with a helpful answer.
I bought the plan with hopes of a PB and ended up knocking 10% off my overall time 🙂
Steve’s attention to detail is impeccable! No stone unturned.I did an Olympic triathlon about 7 years ago and said it was my last! Coach Steve’s plan I purchased on training peaks has been wonderful and led to PBs in the run and bike in my Sprint and Olympic distance races. He has also been so responsive and helpful via email if I have needed to clarify a workout or adapt something. Highly recommended!
Using Coach Moody’s 40-week intermediate FULL DISTANCE plan, my goals were to: 1) Finish; 2) Not permanently injure myself or die; 3) to not be last; and to hopefully beat 14 hours. All goals achieved. With Coach’s plan, I was able to accomplish something I never thought I could achieve. Total time 13:28

After initially signing up for a practical HALF DISTANCE plan, I then moved to his coaching. The tailored approach with constant feedback makes the whole process and delivers everything I want from training. You can see the improvements with each block but most importantly training is enjoyable. Coach Steve gets the balance between tough sessions and recovery just right so that training is consistent. Steve’s knowledge on all aspects of each discipline would make me highly recommend his plans & coaching.
For that B race we targeted, I came in 2nd overall and won my age group by a wide margin. It was great to get some experience with that length of event, to practice my transitions, and to get more confidence going into my A race (Olympic) in two weeks. As you suggested, I didn’t taper at all and was able to continue with the plan by the next morning. Strong testament I think to your plan. My body feels good. Thanks again.
