For me, a triathlon coach is somebody who not only produces training plans and feedback, but one who encourages one to be your best, to reach your true potential, and treats you equally no matter where you are at in the sport be it a beginner or category 1 triathlete. Steven Moody, definitely ticks those boxes. It has been such a great 11 months, that the journey will continue into 2019 to achieve some more goals!
Have been training for a number of years under coach Steve and I have to say he is brilliant and very flexible with training sessions. Any questions are answered /cleared up very quickly. Sessions will be planned to your abilities & availability.

just thought I’d drop you a message. I’m just over 2 weeks into my plan and really enjoying it. The odd day changed due to cold but managed the rest. PB, 3rd lady, and 1st in my age group at the weekend park run, so all looking great
Coach Steve and i started to work at the end of 2018. In May 2019 i finshed my first 70.3, i was surprised how well prepared i have been. In September i finished another 70.3, smashed my PB on one of the hardest courses on IM 70.3 calendar. Never in my life was i so fit and strong, this was by far best race ever. Now we are getting ready for full distance!
Steve is great coach, very responsive, always ready for good advice and guidance and always taking care of his athletes!
Thanks for answering my training plan query so quickly … Ran my fastest 1km during a 10km run, and just increased my FTP on the bike (by 5%) last night on the bike trainer without me pushing to do it….just happened.
So I am excited to see where this all ends up in a few months

A wonderful training plan that fits in with my busy work lifestyle. The sessions are well prepared and well thought of with many little bits of advice along the way. The guidance will get you through to race day leaving you with much confidence, meaning you only need to remember to bring your kit! Previously coached by Steve in 2016 when undertaking Full IM training. 5 years, 3 kids and a few stone later I'm back working with Steve, training towards Ironman Cork 70.3 in August 2021. Steve has tailored my training excellently to allow for family and work commitments as well as dilligently managing my training load to reduce the risk of injury and allow consistent progress. As ever, Steve is personable, easy going and flexible, always putting the athlete first. Would highly recommend!
