Switched over to a smartensurdance plan for my next upcoming IM and so far it has been night and day with other plans. Two biggest benefits so far are firstly the zone and output effort variations are keeping me fresh and continuously improving my metrics while allowing recovery at precise times, and secondly it has taken all of the guess work out of my mind as the analysis provided in the scheduled trainings are granular in design yet simple to follow and my gains very traceable.
Coach Steve Moody has a wealth of experience as a participant & a coach. This combination of experience enables Steve tailor plans to suit the individuals time commitment & ability .
It’s reassuring to have a plan that is proven and a coach that can give guidance when things don’t go “quite to plan “ which is part of life !
Thanks for your commitment and professionalism Steve.
Shay Phelan -I have 5yrs of Triathlon fun under my belt !
I’ve just finished an excellent 70.3 training weekend in Youghal with Steve and Mark.
They took us round the course (including the infamous Windmill Hill!!!) and gave us lots of advice on the course itself, training, nutrition etc .
At best I’m average and I’ll admit I was a bit anxious that the weekend might have been too fast and more for stronger athletes but I was thankfully wrong- we divided into groups and worked together and it was great. And really good fun!!!!!
I used your plan for Cork last year and was so happy with it.
I sent your plan on to two friends in Tralee so they signed up also
Yesterday I did the 1/2 IM Liuzhou and came second in my age group (65-69) in a great time(for me) of 5.39. I missed a Kona spot by 7 minutes but got the spot of 1/2 Nice world championships in September. I am thrilled!!!
Anyway, you deserve a lot of the credit for a training plan that got me to Nice and Kona isn’t dead yet so THANK YOU.
I like your training for 50+ people, I feel I am recuperating better, I was doing another training plan but I like this one better. Feeling stronger every day.
I was looking for a long-term Ironman training plan. Only coach Steve offers such a program (48 weeks, shorter ones are also available). Before purchasing the plan I asked him which plan would be better for me (There are advanced, intermediate, and beginner plans). Steve took the time to understand my fitness level and needs, before recommending a plan (intermediate). He was also very responsive and answered all my questions rapidly and in detail: He not only provides you an answer but also explains why he gave that answer, which is very useful. The plan itself is well thought and the workouts are clearly explained which is important to perform them efficiently.
I highly recommend coach Steve. Knowing that you can count on an expert is highly motivating.
I had been trying to beat my 5km Personal Best for a couple of years when I was recommended to contact Coach Steve about a training plan. I signed up for a 12 week plan and 4 weeks in I’ve already broken my PB. I’m excited now to see just how far I can go over the next 8 weeks. I would highly recommended Coach Steve if your serious about smashing your goals.
Steve is a great coach, extremely responsive and sets a plan that will work for you! I seen my fitness increase way more during his plan than when I was creating my own. Would highly recommend!
Coach Steve is simply awesome! I am just getting back to training and he has been super helpful already! I am so happy that I chose Smart Endurance Solutions to help get me to the finish line of my second Ironman.
Thank you, coach. The run is where I felt the best. I followed your mantra, tighten the core, lean forward, and take a step. Felt wonderful the whole way thru the run. I must say, I followed your plan to 90% of it and started the day with a 15hr goal for a first timer and I am thrilled I hit it with room to spare! And all this was with just a TP plan with no interaction on a weekly basis. I am sold 🙂 .. I think those that have access to you often are going to crush their races
Coach Steve’s 70.3 training plan not only got me to the finish line on my first 70.3 Ironman event, but managed to prepare me well enough to beat my expected 6 hours by 22 minutes!
Will most definately stick to SMart Endurance for my next event.
