Just finished a Advanced Olympic training plan having raced last weekend. Definitely the strongest and best prepared I’ve felt going into a race and even though it’s first race back from Coronavirus had a really strong race.
Also had a great response emailing Steve directly with various questions and also had a really clear and helpful feedback.

The fact you replied so quickly to all my emails with great advice was a huge factor in me successfully completing my first Ironman. I could definitely have done better on my run but I was delighted with my time and really just the fact I finished! The fact I feel great this week and am only in pain due to losing 2 toe nails shows how well my training worked

I started one of your 10 month IM training programmes back in October shortly after doing my first marathon. Today I ran the Inverness half marathon as my first B race and smashed my PB @ half marathon by 7.5mins at 1:46:28…felt like I still had some in the legs at the end. I ran the same course last march in 2:08 before I started all the training

Swim: After a chaotic start & 38mins later (my fastest open-water swim) I was on my bike. Which was a breeze. I started the run and was surprised to see that I finished my first mile at 7.30min. Your words "focus on good running form, engage the core, lean forward, land on the ball of the feet" became a mantra. And just like that I had my first sub-3 by a good 7minutes.

After self-coaching for a few years, I decided to put some purpose and organization into my Ironman training, signed up with a plan from Steve, and am very impressed with the layout and attention to detail in the plan. Coach Steve has been coaching me this year, he has delivered a quality personalised training and recovery program that allows me to maintain a healthy work, life AND training balance. Steven is by far the most attentive coach I know. Feedback on sessions can be almost instant, there are times when there are comments coming in via TrainingPeaks or WhatsApp before I have realised a session has been uploaded. Most of all Steven’s enthusiasm and love for the sport comes through to his athletes, this makes all of the hardship fun.
I purchased a triathlon 70.3 training plan off Smart Endurance Solutions. It has been a well laid out plan that challenges me yet isn’t so challenging as to deter me from training. It also provided a good balance of swim, cycle and run training

Two weeks ago, half marathon in less than 2h and last week-end, this beautiful race IronMaori (quarter) in 2h42 swim 1km 18min bike 45km 1h32 run 10km 47m. Unexpected!
Training is hard but good. My body changed a lot! Skinner than usual but I feel a big change in my mobility and stamina.
So thank you so much again. You made miracles even if I know that the most difficult part is not happened yet.
I'm doing my 5th full IM this year – IMCA and chose Coach Steve's plan as I liked the longer duration and the 50+ training plan – 2 weeks hard, 1 lighter week. I had a complication tho as I'm doing the St George 70.3 WC in mid Sept then have 2.5 weeks of travel between St George and IMCA. Coach Steve came up with a revised plan that allowed for my race, recovery, travel and then enough key workouts to be ready for IMCA.
A great job, very responsive and I highly recommend him as a Coach!

Just finished IronMan Austria with a new personal best. Felt really good during the race and only the hot temperatures of ~35 degrees Celsius stoped me from getting an even better finishing time. The plan was great, with lots of long rides and runs that proved their worth during the race. Very important: i don't have any next day pain after the race (I can even do squats) so the recovery went so well. Highly recommend your plan to anyone. Thanks
