I was looking for a long-term Ironman training plan. Only coach Steve offers such a program (48 weeks, shorter ones are also available). Before purchasing the plan I asked him which plan would be better for me (There are advanced, intermediate, and beginner plans). Steve took the time to understand my fitness level and needs, before recommending a plan (intermediate). He was also very responsive and answered all my questions rapidly and in detail: He not only provides you an answer but also explains why he gave that answer, which is very useful. The plan itself is well thought and the workouts are clearly explained which is important to perform them efficiently.
I highly recommend coach Steve. Knowing that you can count on an expert is highly motivating.
I’ve found the marathon plan really effective so looking forward to getting started on your IM plan in a few weeks.
Coach Steve is the BEST! He is very accessible and accommodating! He defnitely knows triathlon. I am thrilled with my fitness so far and can't wait to cross that finish line!
Had a great time at my Guelph Lake Sprint, it was helped that the odd distances off 750/30/7 really suits my strengths and weaknesses 😉 Was able to snag my first AG win! Looking forward to my A race coming up though!
Bring on the bling!! Huge thanks to Steve and Smartendurancesolutions – your plans and insight have not only kept me injury free this winter but built an aerobic base which has seen me set 3 5k pb (Winning our club handicap competition) and also complete a marathon without feeling like death at the end!! Next up – Ironman Italy!!
I used your plan for Cork last year and was so happy with it.
I sent your plan on to two friends in Tralee so they signed up also
I am fortunate to call Steve my coach for the past four years. He invests 100% in the process and is extremely dedicated to all of his athletes. What sets Steve apart is the value he brings to the process, with regular insights, tips and recommendations tailored to meet your training needs and race goals. Steve's tailored training plan ensured I completed my first marathon in 2:53 and maiden Ironman in 10:32. In addition, my times have improved each year, not bad for a man in his early 40's.
Got an excellent (beginners) IM program off (Coach Steve) via Training Peaks: Easy to follow prescriptions for endurance, threshold, and higher intensity sessions across all three disciplines. It’s got comprehensive instructions for swim drills, stretching for before/after the bike, and how much (by duration) S+C work to thrown into the plan which is really useful as a novice.
The plan progressively banks up fitness and strength over the months – I can see my fitness improving gradually week on week and the built-in step-back weeks are helping stave off injury and fatigue. The plan has taken the guess-work out of my training so I’m getting consistently stronger and faster.
A GREAT investment and better value for $ than any of the tri gear/gadgets I’ve bought! Experience counts.

Thanks for a great plan I finished in 2:23h 38 – 59 – 41 min. The heat was a bit hard at the end of the run and have to improve my swimming but learned already a lot from your plan
I want to thank you for the excellent plan and material you constantly send out. I am doing great with my plan I feel it is well structured
Coach Steve is great! He is extremely responsive and was able to come up with an excellent plan to fit my needs and my goal to complete my first Ironman later this year. I can’t recommend him enough!
I can’t say enough about how great Coach Steve’s PB Hit squad is! I had been training on my own using his 70.3 and OLY plans for 2 yrs prior to joining the squad and I wish I had joined earlier because
1 I gained a lot of better insight into how proper testing really impacts training.
2 I didn’t realize how much I was adjusting the plan & hurting my training when on my own
3 The topics covered in the zooms were insightful and Q&A helped me talk through scenarios that worried me
Thanks CS!!
