I’ve been using the training plan for 3 weeks now and love it. I don’t have to think about anything, the explanations are well detailed and it’s easy to follow. Looking forward to finishing it!
Found plans to be excellent. Daily feedback on sessions keeps me motivated. Big Improvements in FTP & running as a result of base work. Highly recommend coach Steve
Hi Steven! I have done yours 36week beginner ironman plan and reached some good results that I am happy about. 2 months ago i finished 70.3 in 5h8min and two days ago my first Ironman Copenhagen in 11h19min. It has been hard at the beginning to stick to the plan, but then i worked very well and I had better understanding what and why I am doing that
Thanks Steven @ SMart Endurance Solutions, this is a great plan well structured and easy to follow. I followed this plan missing the odd session here and there, but with the aid of proper nutrition I got new sprint PB and to make it even better i got a 5km run PB aswell in the same race.
I've been boosting to my friends about this. The Olympic will be my next adventure for a new PB.

5 weeks ago I was seriously doubting my ability to finish, and started looking ahead to my A race – Weymouth 70.3 in September. With a little help from Smart Endurance Solutions in adapting a newly purchased plan (for Weymouth) in order to get me to the start line yesterday I managed to surpass my expectations of the day and finished the half marathon super strong! This isn't just a stock plan. I've entered my first 70.3 and wanted some structure to my training, with the benefit of some questions if needed. This plan has been spot on, the workload, and the descriptions are easy to follow and build up gradually. Steve has been extremely helpful from day 1 in providing advice and tailoring the programme (i.e. Covid & no pools!). If you have entered any form of triathlon I cant recommended enough how valuable these plans are. Thanks Steve!
I hired Steven to bring more structure and direction to my training, as I had been racing for a few year but not achieving the results I wanted. After a meeting with Steven to discuss my goals for the year, he created a clear plan focusing on the races I wanted to do. I got a detailed plan allowing me to see what was ahead in the next few weeks taking into account personal and work commitments. Steven even managed to update my plan on the fly to accommodate my unpredictable working environment. Steven zoned in on and focused on my run weaknesses and without letting my biking or swimming slide, Steven pushed me to achieve multiple PB’s. I enjoyed the constant monitoring my workouts and commenting with support or a kick start when needed. Steven is a pleasure to work with and makes the whole training planning seem so easy.
Using your plan got me through my first Ironman event in Wales, Tenby on the 15th of September.
Only 1 or two changes were made to the plan because of weather or pool being closed, a good 95% or more of the workouts were completed as expected. No injury, no excessive fatigue – fantastic, thank you!
