Great weekend in Youghal in preparation for my first 70.3 Ironman in August. Learned loads about course while actually doing it, plus plenty of q and a, and good fun too. Definitely recommend.
Steve has been nothing short of brilliant. The initial consultation was thorough which gave me utter confidence in choosing the right plan. The plan itself was incredibly easy to follow with plenty of reading to keep me well informed. This all gave me the perfect springboard to smash my PB at the 70.3 distance. Just back from an excellent training camp on the ironman cork course hosted by coach Steve and Niall , very informative and great attention to detail, despite some challenging weather managed to get some solid training done, have a bit of craic and pick up some very useful tips, couldn't reccomend these camps enough !!!!

This isn't just a stock plan. I've entered my first 70.3 and wanted some structure to my training, with the benefit of some questions if needed. This plan has been spot on, the workload, and the descriptions are easy to follow and build up gradually. Steve has been extremely helpful from day 1 in providing advice and tailoring the programme (i.e. Covid & no pools!). If you have entered any form of triathlon I cant recommended enough how valuable these plans are. Thanks Steve!
I have completed 2 half distances and on full IM & would highly recommend this plan. It's logical, easy to follow, and really gets you to enjoy the process of getting to the start line with the confidence that you are in the great shape to complete the event. All individual advice from Coach Steve was excellent, pragmatic, and delivered with reference to my individual targets & ability. And of course with the right balance of fun! I exceeded my goals on all the legs using this plan!
Steve was very knowledgeable and kept things interesting. The program helped me to get a better understanding of my zones for training and I enjoyed being able to get advice on upcoming events.

Previously coached by Steve in 2016 when undertaking Full IM training. 5 years, 3 kids and a few stone later I'm back working with Steve, training towards Ironman Cork 70.3 in August 2021. Steve has tailored my training excellently to allow for family and work commitments as well as dilligently managing my training load to reduce the risk of injury and allow consistent progress. As ever, Steve is personable, easy going and flexible, always putting the athlete first. Would highly recommend!
I just finished my first 70.3 after following Coach Steve's 70.3 plan. While I started off pretty nervous about the whole idea the plan helped me build confidence over time. Even when I got hit with Covid near the end of my build phase Coach Steve helped me re-organize my plan and push through to the end. I'm not the fastest athlete out there but Coach Steve's plan gave me the confidence to push myself to run hard and strong right through the end. Thanks Coach!
