Thank you sooo much for the HALF DISTANCE plan!!! It was perfect. I questioned the taper weeks so so little to do but day before race my garmin actually said peaking. I was recovered and fresh. I PR’d my HALF DISTANCE on same course I did last year first week of December. Attached is photos from garmin for PR proof:). Thanks again. Love your plans.
What an experience it was to finish my first FULL DISTANCE. With the help of Coach Steve and his program, I crossed the line in 9 hours 36 minutes . Trust the process and perform on race day.

I purchased a 16-week marathon training
program from you with the intention of running the Cork city marathon.
Sad as I was that the race was canceled a few weeks into training I
decided to keep going with the intention of running the marathon
the distance on the day of the race regardless.
I decided to run a marathon a week early on Sunday just passed. Having
never ran a marathon I wasn’t sure what time I would be able to achieve
and set a goal of sub 3:15. Feeling good on the day I pushed on and
finished in a time of 3:06:35.
I followed your program never missing a session other than having to
cut a week out towards the end. I found it extremely helpful and
informative and would never have achieved my time or managed to stay
injury-free without it. I would certainly recommend you to others and
hopefully will use more programs from you in the future.”
Steve organised a fantastic weekend, steve along with Mark covered the swim, bike and run courses, advice on transitions, nutrition, fuelling on the go. Plus advice on training on lead up to the event. Couldn't ask for more for a triathlete to newbie FULL DISTANCE competitor. Have the confidence compete on race day, bring it on!
Coach Steve’s plan I purchased on training peaks has been wonderful and led to PBs in the run and bike in my Sprint and Olympic distance races. He has also been so responsive and helpful via email if I have needed to clarify a workout or adapt something. Highly recommended!
So Coach, the season is now done for me! I completed Outlaw X HALF DISTANCE on Sunday in a PB time of 5:13. My previous like for like was 5:36 in June 2019. So 2 years older and 23 minutes faster! Happy with that.
Super easy to follow base plan. Would recommend for anyone between races or looking to structure their off season.
