Thanks for your plan/support, today I managed to keep a pace of 4:50 throughout the whole 1/2 marathon achieving a PB on this route.
Hi Coach Steve – just to let you know I nailed my first sprint triathlon last weekend with the help of your beginner plan (and the last minute email from you reassuring me I could do it!) – thanks so much for your help – going to enjoy off season now …. but maybe Olympic distance next year? š
Thank you very much for your plan. My experience was incredible, and I believe there is room for improvement in the upcoming half triathlons next year. Let’s keep in touch.
Found plans to be excellent. Daily feedback on sessions keeps me motivated. Big Improvements in FTP & running as a result of base work. Highly recommend coach Steve
After a few false starts with race postponements and cancellations due to Covid I really felt the benefit of sticking to Coach Steve’s 70.3 plan as I felt strong and well prepared going into the race. It is a very easy to navigate, varied plan so I didn’t get bored. I could see the progress as I was moving through the base and build phases which also helped with injury prevention. I would highly recommend this and other plans as Steve was available to answer any queries.
I approached Coach Steve from Smartendurancesolutions back in September, as I wanted to have a second opinion on how structured marathon training would work for me ā so I bought his advanced marathon plan. From the beginning Coach Steve was very friendly and answered lightning fast all the questions I had- although Iām a decent runner with a pb of 2:51 on the marathon ā regardless the question, he was there with a good advice or a joke š. Truth is that for those 35 usd paid on the plan you just get more then that ā so once this marathon plan is completed, Iāll continue working with Steve on my next goal ā sub 10h IM (currently sitting at 10h, with a pb of 10:01 and several other around 10:15). Bottom line ā Iām very happy with the choice I made and canāt recommend Smartendurancesolutions enough.
Yesterday I did the 1/2 IM Liuzhou and came second in my age group (65-69) in a great time(for me) of 5.39. I missed a Kona spot by 7 minutes but got the spot of 1/2 Nice world championships in September. I am thrilled!!!
Anyway, you deserve a lot of the credit for a training plan that got me to Nice and Kona isnāt dead yet so THANK YOU.
I've found SMART ENDURANCE SOLUTIONS 70.3 plans to work really well for me. I've seen my results improve while following his plans. It takes the "thinking / overthinking" out of the training process and I just have to do the sessions and trust in the process. Steve replies quickly to my queries and always has helpful advice when needed. He was able to design a custom plan which was tailored to my strengths and accounted for my club swim sessions, Zwift sessions and solo runs. Thanks!
What a weekend.
Thanks very much for all your help and support over the last year.
Crossing the finish line and hearing those words āDavid Hill you are an Ironmanā made all the time and commitment worthwhile.
The IM plan that I had previously was great – got me through IMNZ in March, taking over an hour off my previous time. This year I went for the intermediate plan rather than a beginner to use the additional swimming and riding to make up for the run. All in all, really happy with the outcome.
Great trial really enjoying getting back to training and this programme is giving me massive motivation to get fully back into training
Recently attended a Cork training camp with Steve Moody and Mark Rushby. An excellent weekend, the two lads couldnāt do enough to help , tips on course strategy , nutrition , transitions and course specific advice to name but a few. They went above and beyond to help everyone of all abilities and done it with a smile. Couldnāt recommend these lads highly enough for anyone wishing to attend a coaching camp look no further than Steve and Mark.. thanks for all your help lads
