As someone who needs structure to my training I found working with Steve invaluable. Constant feedback helped keep me focused and when I was unfortunate to pick up an injury we worked together to ensure training was back on track.
Easy to follow plan. I owe a great deal of gratitude to Coach Steve who was always there to answer any queries. Was surprised to see how the plan managed to have me peak right on race week. Likewise, i was pleased that the plan was solid enough to compensate for all the sessions I had to miss as life and health got into the way.

A wonderful training plan that fits in with my busy work lifestyle. The sessions are well prepared and well thought of with many little bits of advice along the way. The guidance will get you through to race day leaving you with much confidence, meaning you only need to remember to bring your kit! The author is very approachable and helped me pick out the right plan for me and went out of his way in doing so. I am very appreciative of that and would certainly recommend Steve to everyone. I've been doing Olympic and Sprint tri's for a few years and decided to make the step up to HALF DISTANCE this year. Coach Steve's training plan is clear, easy to follow and most important, accessible. I was overwhelmed with the idea of building my own plan and found some plans on the interwebs to be very confusing. I love that Coach Steve's plan workouts that repeat week after week while slowly increasing in volume and pace; it makes it very accessible and feels manageable. I'm more fit than ever!
I’ve never signed up to a structured training plan before.
So for me your plan & the structure & Trainingpeaks is great motivation. Trying to get those boxes to go green keeps me on my toes.
I really like the way the plan is laid out. Eg the swims are normally on the same days of the week, so it’s easier to plan them.
I already feel fitter & stronger than I have in a long time…..so the plan works 🙂

Great weekend in Youghal in preparation for my first HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE in August. Learned loads about course while actually doing it, plus plenty of q and a, and good fun too. Definitely recommend.
I bought the 24 week Olympic training plan and it has exceeded my expectations.
Not only are the workouts clearly defined in Training Peaks with usefully notes, but the additional support via email has been excellent. Any issue or concern I had was quickly responded to with a helpful answer.
I bought the plan with hopes of a PB and ended up knocking 10% off my overall time 🙂
