Your training plan help keep me focussed, made me a fitter and more knowledgeable athlete. I’m looking for my next event now (maybe another middle distance or Olympic) but I will be back to buy a full distance programme later in the year!

I appreciate your program. I felt like your training worked really well for me as well as how you set things up in Training Peaks, it was great to have trust in the HR zones and see the progression. The last Triathlon I did was in 2012, California HALF DISTANCE which I finished in 5:40. A decade later, I finished Florida HALF DISTANCE in 5:32, a new PR!

After 2 years of Covid cancellations , I finally made it to the start line of the 2022 Port Macquarie HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE. It was hard to stay motivated through Covid lockdowns and weeks of rain, but Steve's program kept me focused and gave me a realistic training load and intensity. I realised I'd been overtraining, and Steve's program taught me the value of low heart rate sessions. I was impressed with Steve's quick response to emails and his reassuring and helpful advice. I started using the beginner FULL DISTANCE program from Steve and found it to be extremely helpful and saw my fitness improve dramatically since then I have moved onto the advanced FULL DISTANCE program from Steve and have managed PB’s in all three disciplines. Steve has always be approachable via email with any questions and responds quickly. I now have 4 programs by Steve across FULL DISTANCE and HALF DISTANCE distances. Loved the plan – it has taught me a lot and put me on track to compete in my first tri race (olympic).
Great weekend in Youghal in preparation for my first HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE in August. Learned loads about course while actually doing it, plus plenty of q and a, and good fun too. Definitely recommend.
