I completed my A race this weekend (Olympic). Podium for my age group and 24th overall in field of 350 with strong elite athlete participation.
More than the result though, I was really pleased with how my body responded compared to my first Olympic race. I felt great afterwards – even went to an all day music festival the next day! I honestly see this as a testament to your training plan and would like to continue with your training plans.
Thanks to Cairnscrocstriclub for another amazing duathlon event this morning. I was carrying a niggling injury which affected my run times but super stoked to have shaved 10 mins from my bike time last year. Since we teamed up your coaching and advice has made a major difference & improvement to my training. Your analysis has highlighted instances where I was overtraining, brought a focus and rationale to training in the correct HR zones which has developed my endurance. Your coaching has also introduced proper periodization to my training. Crucially having you coaching me has taken away the usual second guessing that goes with setting one’s own training schedule. On the journey I have found that you listened well to my particular circumstances and been flexible and adaptive to suit my busy worklife. TrainingPeaks played a key role here also allowing me to lay out my work commitments in advance and you could tailor the training load and schedule to fit.

I am delighted to inform that I crossed the HALF DISTANCE Weymouth finish line in my personal best of 7 hrs 21 mins and 11 seconds.
I am really happy with the result, your training plan helped. All in all, a very satisfying result. And also a demonstration that I can push more and look to bring that time to sub 7.
Steve's plan helped me successfully complete my first HALF DISTANCE! The plan was manageable and I felt like I was able to move my workouts around as my scheduled allowed. I will be using the plan again to train for my next HALF DISTANCE. Steve also provided helpful emails throughout the training plan.
I thoroughly enjoyed the IM plan you developed for 50+ Athletes. I made it through the entire program with zero injuries. This combined with the use of Fulgaz, really prepared me well for IM Tulsa.

I have done yours 36week beginner full-distance plan and reached some good results that I am happy about. 2 months ago i finished HALF DISTANCE in 5h8min and two days ago my first FULL DISTANCE Copenhagen in 11h19min. It has been hard at the beginning to stick to the plan, but then i worked very well and I had better understanding what and why I am doing that
