I appreciate your program. I felt like your training worked really well for me as well as how you set things up in Training Peaks, it was great to have trust in the HR zones and see the progression. The last Triathlon I did was in 2012, California HALF DISTANCE which I finished in 5:40. A decade later, I finished Florida HALF DISTANCE in 5:32, a new PR!
With this time I became 4th in my AG (36 woman) AND I won a slot for the IMHALF DISTANCE WC in St. George End of October! What a great success

My training for the Peach Classic Olympic distrance tri went very well. I felt so prepared and fit coming into my race thanks to following your training plan. I have never felt so ready and confident for a race. I ended up winning second in my age group, and as it was a provincial championship race, I got a podium moment, a medal, and a prize bottle of wine. I will definitely try another training plan next year!

I loved your plan [BEGINNER Olympic 14 week plan, Coach email access, reusable, HR based] and completed my Olympic tri 21 minutes under goal.
As someone who needs structure to my training I found working with Steve invaluable. Constant feedback helped keep me focused and when I was unfortunate to pick up an injury we worked together to ensure training was back on track.
After completing a number of HALF DISTANCE’s I reached a plateau in training and was finding it difficult to move forward.
I enrolled in a training program with Coach Steve and after setting my goals he starting providing feedback on a weekly basis on my sessions.
In between I obtained pbs in sprint and Olympic distance.
After postponement of events he changed plan to accommodate my desires.
The result a 5.28 in FULL DISTANCE HALF DISTANCE Turkey at 53 years without any major injuries along the way.
Great training plan for me, brought me to the top of my fitness in June 2021 after only 3 months of efficient training following my base training.
Following a great training plan from smart endurance solutions, had a few queries about it and were answered extremely quickly and concisely with a friendly manner, highly recommended!!
I just completed your 18 weeks HALF DISTANCE Training plan and got a 45 min PR from my first HALF DISTANCE :). I did better in every single distance.

Your plan really assisted me in my training. I especially enjoyed the fact that the workouts loaded to my Garmin watch and then told me what Zone to be in. The drag-and-drop calendar was great helping to move sessions around.
My fitness improved dramatically, and I lost 26lbs in weight which was an achievement in itself!
I feel a bit cheated (with cancelled swim) as I cant really say I have done a HALF DISTANCE but enjoyed the training and would definitely recommend
